He tailored the dress as like bhagavan Ram to send a message to British. His revolt was very succesfull and inspired others like bose.

He took sanyasa from proper vaishnva sampradaya and that's why he is vaishnavite.
@@AB-yp7nc My take on this subject is for Kaliyugas rules are different. In previous yugas also Kshatriyas used to take sanyasa like viswamitra but not much prominent.
Lord Krishna scolded Arjuna because he would never be a good sanyasa because Arjuna was a kshtriya from his inside nature also. And at that time was war was happening. So sanyasa for Arjuna was not good option.
Current UP cm Aditya nath s guru guru was a rajput. Many Nath yogis were kahtraiyas. In this Yuga we had many prominent kshtriyas and khatris as sanyasa like Swami vivekananda. We have many sampradaya take all varnas as sanyasa not just iskon but established nath sampradaya. Sectarian differences were always there
Regarding Ramaraju he took sanyasa at 18. Many books available in Telugu say the same. It was an established fact.
