  • This is Episode 3, of my trip from the UK via France and Germany to a 3-night stay in The Dolomites at Val Gardena. I then travelled to the coast of Croatia for 2-nights; then North to the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana for 2-nights; before travelling further North for 2-nights in the capital of Austria, Vienna; then I headed for home, returning via two evening stops in Germany and one in Belgium.
The tour was organised by Roger Gill, a long standing member and experienced tour organiser within the members of the www.pemc.co.uk
In total, there were 31 fellow motorcycle members of the UK motorcycling club, www.pemc.co.uk. The PEMC club has over 300 members, mostly based in the UK, who enjoy a wide variety of well-priced events and trips based around the UK & Europe.
Episode 3 covers the following -
Day 8 ~ This covers our ride from Medulin on the Croatian Coast, North to Ljubljana, the small, beautiful capital City of Slovenia.
Day 9 ~ A rest day to explore the sights and sounds of this fabulous City. The Triple Bridge, Dragon Bridge, central market, the river that flows through the centre, the nearby park and of course the popular castle, offering elevated views over the surrounding area. All this within a short walk of the centrally located modern hotel. If you’ve never been to Ljubljana and the lovely Slovenian wooded roads, please put it on your To-Do list.
Day 10 ~ Today, we ride Northward again, this time to Vienna, the historic capital of Austria.
Day 11 ~ A rest day to explore the city by foot, enjoy the sights and sounds of this historic Capital, including a visit to the Kunsthistorisches Museum.
It looks great on a Smart TV, as it has been filmed in HD.

As I do not place advertisements on my videos, please consider giving it a THUMBS UP, as it will help my channel with the dreaded UA-cam algorithms. Plus, I'd like to hear any COMMENTS or feedback below. Do you like/hate the subtitles? What would you like to see more of, or less of, from my touring videos? Is anyone actually interested in seeing the hotel room tours? Anything else? Thanks for watching. Paul.

Hey Paul; great vid as always. Slovenia looks like a fab place to visit.
The ride from Ljubljana to Vienna was fairly uninviting though, good that you kept it short! 🙂. I know "needs must" and all that and then you get a day off to see Vienna, so I guess worth it in the end. I'm interested in your view, though: if you had a choice would you do two days 130-140 miles each or one day 270 miles motorway and then a day off the bike?

It so depends on where you are riding from/to. As you say, sometimes needs must and some of the organisers daily mileages demanded a faster route… but not my normal choice TBH. 👍
