for me Kraftwerk are the fathers of Electronic Music in general because they are from a time when there were already people making records of electronic music but for studies and etc... but the 4 Germans who were students besides playing they were the first to do it shows on TV and still create ways and means of playing and creating music with things we wouldn't imagine they would do as an example the famous electronic calculators in which they reprogrammed to play music like synthesizers and even created the song Pocket Calculator in which they were successful, no no wonder they are the true fathers of Electronic Music and inspiration for some people, artists, bands... which by the way are still successful doing shows around the world playing their greatest hits, my favorite is Radioactivity because they actually used some radioactivity detection instruments to create the music, but it is a true work of sound art to listen to, I recommend listening to it the studio version and dps the live version they played in japan is a really cool show
An example of the immense influence of Kraftwerk on later bands: the main riff of Computerliebe was used many years later by Coldplay for their track "Talk".
The Music Of "Kraftwerk" Good A Groove. That`s One Reason Why The Blacks Love Them And In This, They Showed That They Found The Soul And Beauty Of The Machines.
1981 -- "Computer Love" was the follow up single to "Pocket Calculator" from their Computer World album. "Computer Love" is still a dreamy tune, strangely soothing all these decades later. "Pocket Calculator" might better convey how novel these sounds were back then. Today those sounds resemble the sounds accompanying an 8 bit video game, but 8 bit games arrived fifteen years or so into the future this music heralded. A few small everyday electronic devices beeped, calculators and wrist watches mostly, and a kids game called Simon that played a handful of musical notes while it cycled through colored lights on top of a black plastic disc.
Radioactivity and Manmachine are my favorites.. There most popular is We Are the Robots....I love how much you get into the music...Great reaction!!!!!
I liked you reaction, I had a student from the university of Nairobu at Volvo in Sweden and i was her mentor. I introduced her to some European music and including Kraftwerk. I really like what Kraftserk did, borrowing African rythms with European melodies. I hope that Europe and Africacan can come together and rock this planet into a sounder place.
The lyrics: Computer love Computer love Computer love Computer love Another lonely night, lonely night Stare at the TV screen, at the TV screen I don't know what to do, don't what to do I need to rendezvous, rendezvous Computer love Computer love Computer love Computer love I call this number, I call this number For a data date, data date I don't know what to do, don't know what to do I need to rendezvous, rendezvous Computer love Computer love Computer love Computer love ------------ The most mind-blowing part of this song is that it was released in 1981 -- decades before online dating was a thing. Kraftwerk were so far ahead of their time.
There were computers. The Apple II was released in 1977, for example. So when they sing, they're signing about love for computers. For what they were then, and for the hopes of a brighter tomorrow.
Definitely see why bands like molchat doma always mention them, they singlehandedly created 40 emd genres just with this one song, synthwave, dreamcore, and cloudcore.
The model was a b side to this .I hated it when I first heard it. But years later the model was re released and made number one in the UK ,and I loved it .Funny how our musical tastes change over the years.
This is probably the first song about online dating ever.
How beautiful! I love KRAFTWERK. 😍😍🤩

Man Machine is my favourite Kraftwerk album. Every song on there is fantastic.
And one of the best album covers of all time. Suitable for framing.
Personally I think that “Trans Europe Express” is THE best album of all time, the songs, the concept, the art, everything is perfect
Una persona de África escuchando a ktaftwerk hace que su música sea universal
Fun fact: When they wrote this song in 1980, none of Kraftwerk owned a computer.
It's a very beautiful song.🤩

I still have my original vinyl, still in cellophane, right next to "bridge over troubled water" S&G.

THIS IS THE BIRTH OF TECHNO

One of my favourite songs of all time.
Glad you enjoyed it
The lyrics:
Computer love

I'm going to see them on May 17th at 7pm at kemba live in Columbus Ohio
They are truly an inspiration to many bands.
Have you heard autobahn or radioactivity?
Thank you for your reaction, always enjoyable!🤗🇨🇦
Thanks for the feedback, they truly are amazing and thanks for the suggestions, I'll be sure to check them out 💯
rememberthis was 40 years ago, and no computers

This is way there going into the hull of fame and Grammy hul of fame great music transerupe express
I used to put that computer world album on and blast it at full volume and do work outs. Love that sound.
there is another longer version of this song from their hits collection and the music is very energetic on that recording
Definitely see why bands like molchat doma always mention them, they singlehandedly created 40 emd genres just with this one song, synthwave, dreamcore, and cloudcore.
❤️❤️
I would very much recommend Autobahn and Showroom Dummies if you haven't done them already.
Pioneers
Try 'The Model' from Kraftwerk. A beautiful song. 'Trans Europe Express' is great too. These guys are pioneers and have been sampled a lot.
Recomend this music
Kraftwerk - Radioactivity

The original German version is, of course better. Computer Liebe is its title.
Thanks for the info, I'll be sure to check it out
