This solo is seriously so good. Their first two albums got me through one of the worst breakups I've ever experienced. I'm only now coming back to listen to it a year later, and it still gives me flashbacks to how terrible it was. But the one good thing about those memories are, listening to these albums while I drank my face off crying and trying to forget. Who hurt you Jeff martin, who hurt you
I've loved "The Edges of Twilight" since it first came out back in the 90s, and this excellent tune is def. one of my very favorite tracks on the album! I've always felt "The Tea Party" deserved to hit it MUCH bigger than they did! Very talented guys!
just saw these guys perform for the first time thursday oct 1st. at the showbox market in seattle. what an amazing show!! they played the edges of twilight album in its entirety. fantastic performance! will definitly see them again if they come back around.
why? This band always made good music, all members solo projects made good music, and now that they're back together, good music is once again being preformed
how did I manage to miss these guys during their entire 90s run?? Must have been deaf, dumb and blind!?!I was into the whole rock-a-billy thing back then.
bakowsky1 Rockabilly was huge back then. I loved it. Even my "rock" music before and after had country and gospel flavors. Eagles, James Taylor, Kris Kristofferson, ...
Martin broke up with the Tea Party exactly for that reason! He didn't like the "commercial friendly" turn the band did on Seven Circles. Burrows and Chatwood wanted to commercialize their sound and stuff.
I remember understanding how special they were when I heard this album. But they fell apart over commercialism. Scott Stapp give me a god damn break. From the creators of this song. Materialistic idiots you're doing what you want why do you need a bigger audience? Gordie Jonson gave up BIg Sugar, went to Texas and played tiny shows in clubs, moving his own equipment around. Martin you egotist; such a shallow view is unworthy of your talent.
I remember feeling my spirits lift when I first listened to this song
