As a fan of real animatronics i can say that Carnie has the most realistic layering, cosmetics, shell, frame. You can even see the connectors that link the shell to the frame and the indents that connect the cosmetics to the shell! Very detailed.
I'm also a fan of real animatronics, carnies endo reminds me of CEC endos.
Everyone keeps saying that the second layer under carnie is copper but to me it looks much more like the protected leather that was often used inbetween the plexiglass shells of animatronics and their endoskeletons.
Wow carnie’s endo is also probably the most realistic endoskeleton we’ve seen so far in terms of it looking functional. Ive been watching a bunch of old animatronic restorations (rock-afire explosion) and his looks the most similar. Really cool!
That's super interesting that its the most realistic, since it also seems to be the one the devs "wanted" us to see. Other new animtronic models like Jack O Moon and Funtime Chica only give us brief glimpses of shoulders and chests and skulls - but Carnie (And Lefty) have a fully rendered endo complete with layers and casing attachments...? Either they were really proud of the model, or are trying to show us something is going to be important about Carnie.
thats what i thought of too. interesting they made it pretty realistic (for fnaf's standards), i mean im pretty sure you dont ever get to see it in game
That's what I was thinking! Makes me wonder if Steel Wool might continue taking some inspiration from real animatronics (Personally, I would absolutely love that)
I actually mess around with steel wool's models a lot and have a simple explanation I don't think everybody will like
steel wool just makes the insides of most their animatronics shiny, it's not a specific material, it's the same material on the outer layer
I'd assume it's to make it look darker
I remember the time where we all would want to see how every Endo skeleton of animatronics that did not have an endo variant looked like... The nostalgia.

Carnie having a simplistic endo actually kinda makes sense since Henry likely rushed the creation of the Rockstars and just wanted to get put some high-end entertainers for whoever bought the FNaF 6 pizzeria

It still could. Things that can only be seen by modifying the game and using the dev console etc are not canon.
Seems like it would be a pain in the ass to create and put in VR, especially since you will not even see it

12:00 the reason only 1 side is HD cuz one of her plates is missing, therefore that one side of the endoskeleton would be visible
It’s really cool to see how much effort went into their endoskeletons and parts even though we never really see any of them.
Honestly it kinda looks like Scrap Baby is using a Springlock endo torso, with the ribs and spine. Maybe not the exact same model as Spring Bonnie’s, but it could be that she tore apart that mysterious Night 4 suit for its torso, maybe some of those leg cages too
I'm pretty sure at least part of her head, more specifically her mandible casing, is part of Night 4's suit. Also have seen somewhere saying the top head casing is Funtime Freddy's.
@@leothebrat2048the lower part of her mouth doesn’t match, aswell as the faceplates connecting at the back of her head while in the springlock they connect after tge sides
I find it interesting that scrap baby built herself back using a more human look when ejected from ennard, with her endo looking like muscles and bones and her head looking like a human skull
Tbf all the funtimes have a muscle like endo

I’m glad they stay true to how Scott designs some characters with like building from the inside out sort of, even if there are parts covering parts you can still see how much detail there is with it when you take it apart

I think I know why Scrap Baby has cages around the legs and a metal ribcage.
She was thrown out of Ennard, and didn't really have any structure. She does know how to use her wires as muscles, since Funtimes are build that way.
So, I suspect that she stole the legs and torso from a Springlock Suit. These had to have some sort of cages over the limbs so it doesn't look like just a regular costume, and the ribcage looks extremely similat to the one that film Afton died to.
So we FINALLY get to see what the Rockstar endos look like.
Creative officers: okay put as much detail into the back of the animatronic
3d designers: will we ever get to see behind it?

Can't imagine how mad accuracy modelers are that most of her endo is a mesh with wires
That is mainly because, unlike the official Scott models, these are very simplified

God the level of detail they added to these models that no one would see by regular means is almost R* material!
The so called “second layers” of mesh are just the inner edges of the outer layer that werent merged with the outer layer. They re like that so that it gives the model a sharper look. Hence the materials are also the same, the inner mesh of the”copper” of Carnie is still the same exact plastic mesh just viewed with inverted normals.
calling a more realistic rendition of endo01 "very advanced" is very funny to me, like captain foxy is just endo01, a design we've had since the first game, and in canon since atleast the 90s. that guy is not "very advanced" just because it has some funky detailing or shaping to it
i took it as "very advanced" in the sense that its more detailed than you'd expect for something you'll never see

Seeing how intricate Baby's endoskeleton looks, it shows not only how smart Afton was, but also how twisted and dangerous he is.
They look more terrifying WITHOUT their outer shells

I think it would have been cool if ruined djmm would have lost all his casing + eyes, and so you’d have to only go on sound cues if you got the music track right or wrong

Never guessed why scrap baby called scraptrap daddy because she has the same forehead as him 💀
Human's foreheads are big normally. "Scraptrap's" is actually sized as any normal human forehead. His body proportions just suck,he is too thin and small for his torso,arms and legs,while his head is fairly normal sized,the way it is shaped is like if it was a egg,making it shaped like a skull fixs his head. If you make that,you make Afton actually better than he already was.

The ribcage like design on scrap babys suit reminds me of springtraps endoskeleton, something meant to hold down the endoskeleton parts and be removed or pushed back so something can wear the suit

The Rockstar endo is really interesting... particularly the head. Why do they have a sunken in nose like a skull? But it's nice to see it in detail at last.
The heads look like the endoskeleton heads of Fredbear's that appear in the FNAF 4 minigames
Scrap Baby is very well built for something made by the ghost of a little girl with actual junk (most if not all of the AI she had pre-haunting doesn't seem to have survived the ejection and rebuilding)
