1 can condensed milk
1 and 1/2 or 2 can eveporated milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp butter
1/8 tsp ube powder food color
1 tsp ube flavoring

Salamat for sharing your recipe. I can’t get fresh ube here, so I ordered powdered ube on amazon. The online ube halaya recipes using powdered ube looked nowhere near silky like yours, so I adapted your recipe to my needs (sugar free, lactose free). So glad you said to cook for 45 minutes. Like the way you fearlessly whack the ham tin. Had a lick just now, with 20 minutes to go - masarap! Thanks again

Naku itong ube halaya na may authentic na lasa ang matagal ko nang na miss, dahil dito sa abroad ay wala kang mabibilhan ng ube, kya nag tyaga kami sa alternatives na ube halaya made with kamote, di ko alam may available palang ube powder, siguro mahal.
