You could use crit res rune next time to drop 2 stats. its 2 sink.

That is true but it has a lower chance of landing than a 1 int rune. My goal was to actually land the 1 int in order to recycle the sink when adding on further runes. Similar to how I recycled 3 sink from the pod landing
