This run was so good like it was so good I didnt see you do any mistakes. (there where some small things but the best way to stop those is to wacth runs and get more game sense so you remember not to do them)
I legit started speedrunning the exact same time as you, I tried to beat the game for hours with constant failure but today I beat the game 3 times and eventually I got a time of 37.27. and its an amazing feeling knowing that im improving. I really enjoy your videos they remind me a lot of rekrap2's videos pls keep making them
The sprint crawling after entering and exiting the boat trick should work as long as you don't hit your head on any of the blocks, once you practice it more you can get more consistent at it.
u grabbed a crossbow + arrows, in the bastion and you could have used them to shoot down some crystals in the end for a slightly faster purch (i don't know how to spell that 😭)
5:08, yeah i commented about that. just try to mine a 2x3x1 (1 tall) and mine another 4th block so its two line that are 2x3x1 + 2x4x1, stand in the extra one, put the boat in like the start of the of the shape sprint into the block and whiile you do enter the boat. aint no way thats understandable but i could find a tutorial..
yeah its pretty abnormal to have your first 4 runs be sub 30 but to say you havent earned them is just incorrect. getting lucky is part of the game but these are NOT perfect seeds and every time you have managed to execute well enough to finish these runs in under 30 minutes. For example, your one cycles have been immaculate, which is something I struggled a lot when I started. Do NOT get in your own head about making these simple mistakes. You are brand new and putting up great times despite your inexperience with goofy little errors just making you better. Do not get embarrassed because you did something silly or didn't understand how the game worked. Learn from those mistakes because that is how you gain experience, even if you have make the same mistake multiple times. Put in the effort to remember next time and eventually it will become second nature. Practice maps/mods are great for finding those faults and I would highly recommend using them to fix those errors in your gameplay. Your improvement is already great and it won't be long before you look back at these runs to see how much better you have got in a short amount of time.

If you are not sure about the coords or the stronghold you should make your nether portal in a high location that way it won't spawn you underground

finally, no you arent getting lucky, you dont need to know much strats or have very good mechanics to get sub 30s
