Mashallah I love when I get a chance to teach non-muslim people what I know about Islam. I am a revert myself and rather new and don’t have muslims around me so I am far from knowing alot. But still I know something and I often gotten a chance to right some misconceptions alhamdulillah. Like about the hijab and about fasting, oddly many people think we just don’t eat at all for a whole month 😂 and think Ramadan is just about starving yourself for no reason. 😅
Actually.. Only muslim men that u cannot marry and muslim females can see another muslim females without hijab. Non muslim (both genders) are not allowed to see our hair to avoid fitnah and hasad.
Thank you soooooooo much for saying that. People (also me) have low knowledge when it comes hijab. I used to think non-muslim women can see my hair but i was wrong. We (as hijabis) should be better at spreading knowledge about hijabs.
Other than the Qu’ran. Are there any books that anyone may recommend that gives an unbiased history of Islam? I am doing my research before deciding to take my shahada. I’ve no idea where to start!
