MAJOR CONGRATS! I am SO OVER THE MOON HAPPY for you!!!!!!! I couldn't hold ANYTHING down, I was so sick I had to be hospitalized twice for dehydration. So I GET it and I have been there sweetness. Peppermint can settle your tummy down. The quickest are those Star Mint things. You know look like discs of large candy canes? (Unless of course, you are allergic to peppermint then obviously don't) To this day if I am feeling erpy, I get a Peppermint in my mouth as SOON as possible. There are also peppermint oils that you can have the hubs get from Whole Foods if the sugar content of the candy worries you.

Congrats girl!!! We are prego at the same time😊 Also a first time mama so I’m scared! There is something in the water because so many people are getting pregnant this year lol And yes the first trimester freaking sucked!! I was wondering why I was so exhausted all the time then found out I was pregnant at 5wks and it all made sense. I had nausea but no vomiting so I feel for you! Don’t stress your self out too much about not eating enough, I know easier said than done! Coming from someone with a BS in nutrition currently working on my Master’s, in the first trimester you don’t need to increase your calories. Not until the 2nd (around 300 cal) and 3rd trimester (around 400cal) will you want to increase your cal intake. Focus on eating more nutrient dense foods so you don’t have to increase the bulk of your food, which I know can be hard when you’re getting nauseous. I got nauseous when I would eat portions that I was normal to so I had to decrease them but snack more often and that helped me. Hope some of that info may help you or someone else! Also my sleep has been so uncomfortable and difficult lately and I’m only 13 wks 😳so I’m just thinking about how much worse it will get. Also my smell has been so strong since the 3rd or 4th wk which made the food cravings way more intense! I’m starting to have more energy now but it’s slowly coming back and my GI problems related to indigestion are starting to ease up.
