I see why the anime cut all the content because it starts straight from the dungeon and we only get brief blah flashbacks rather than the whole setup. It's really long and it takes forever to get where it needs to go. So the anime was just like cut it and put some flashbacks in here and there
If the country would starve but if you enslave people and make them ork the fields you can save the country from starvation , that doesn't make slavery an acceptable practice. So are summonings , kidnapping and enslaving a person for the purpose of fighting, all that's different is that you use the fact that the person doesn't know much about the world and you guilt trip them into helping, like Japanese black companies.
