I think they should add tents like in the Hunter call the wild so we can fast travel and have our equipment in very hard to reach locations so we don't have to keep on going back to the Outpost for Baits and the switch lures
Honestly a hook guide chart would be fiiiire like fish species and then bronze put all hook sizes silver then just trophys either long ways or going down u could even put your favorite baits or lures for them too
Another hotspot for all types of trout (mostly brookies and cutthroat) is by the northwest mouth of bear lake. There is a bridge by it and on either side I have caught multiple golds and a diamond brook trout. It is a great spot for beginners as you unlock the size 7 spinner through a quest, that is what I have had the most success with. Edit: it was at 8:24 of the video with the hotspots for most species (the 15:30 one).

I think if the fish is there and you have a bait on it like there's a good chance its going to take it hook size only effect the fish if the hook is too big

This part of the game is so stupid when jn reallity its not about hook size its more about type and colors i dont know why they made hook size the determi ing factor in this game its just dumb.the didnt even get hook sizes right its like they know absolutely nothing about fishing and the so called experts they worked with obviously are just as silly.
