fragwagon much respect to you sir. I think the sequels are a big screw you to the fanbase of Star Wars. But personally I feel most empathetic for the ones who grew up watching episode 4-6, since these sequels not only kill off their favorite characters and ruin the story telling those films set up but they disrespectfully do it. I grew up watching the prequels, I know they have flaws, but at least they told a story and had a great and interesting story... sequels are just for the modern SJWs and ruining the past films.
I will always love Star Wars toys. From 1978 to today, I still buy, play, display and collect every action figure, vehicle, spaceship, etc. I even take carded action figures to conventions to get any actor/actress to autograph them. I still have the R2-D2, Bikini Slave Leia and Chewbacca carded figures with Kenney Baker's, Carrie Fisher's and Peter Mayhew's autograph. I will NEVER sell them.

At the midnight viewing I left feeling disappointed. However I went to see it again the next day and it is a very enjoyable movie. Definitely has a lot of problems and highlights a lot of problems but it is a fun, engaging movie. I recommend everyone should aim to see it twice as regardless of disappointment (which I definitely felt), it's very enjoyable when you're able to slow down and take it in rather than feeling overwhelmed on first viewing.
I don't get all the negativity I mean I see where people are coming from but everyone is entitled to their opinion and I actually liked and felt very emotional over the movie
