I adored Kate Winslet as Ophelia ❤ wanna watch Helena now. I bet she's magnificent in that role esp the crazy parts!
😀 Watched Helena's Ophelia 💕 She amazed me as always. But the screenplay was better for Kate's movie. She had her normal lovey dovey part more and hence when the madness hits, it's more justified. Hope Helena had more scenes 🥺✨

It's from the BBC's adaptation of Northanger Abbey (1986) by Ilona Sekacz. I watched it decades ago the same time I was studying Hamlet at high school, and the two became fixed in my mind.
