Now armaan is not big lawyer but he is robot for ruhi dadisa and vidya. Armaan is blank no feeling no brain unhappy and not alive it's disappear when he lose abhira. Armaan use to laught happy angry and funny with abhira. I pity armaan about his weak.
I know that all are talking about hatred towards Armaan but I don't feel that he is weak character. He is the son of madhav and his first wife(who was not accepted by any poddar family) and suddenly madhav brought him to poddar family and asked his family to accept him(arman) but they pretended to accept. Till now they haven't accepted armaan. Arman thinks that they accepted him and he feels they did big favour of accepting him. And that's why he couldn't disagree to anyone especially dadisaa as well his stepmom who orders him to do this and that. Specifically in ruhi case his stepmom ordered him to take responsibility of ruhi then he couldn't disagree her so he took that responsibility. Then there goes ruhi, for her he tried to be her good friend but she did those stupid things to get his attention which he couldn't unseen as he thought he might lost a good friend and his family member. For abhira, she was the only person who he felt like a home. He felt safe with her, he even wrote her name in his family members group of name in chair. He was himself when he was with abhira. Then there goes the poddar family who couldn't bear his happiness. He went against them for her and they thought she could change him and they wouldn't be able to order him like before. He thinks they did favour for him so he couldn't go against him. I feel bad for the Arman character 😢

Poddar family always remind him that he was accepted but not a family member as other indirectly by everyone. That why he always keeps his family first as he is blind folded by their fake love and acceptance. He thinks they did favour to him. It's the reason behind the actual behaviour of him. This is my opinion, so I guess everyone has right to present their view.
It's the environment of the house too as it is full of negativity and dominance of Male society. He is lawyer but he can't take stand for himself in front of his dadisaa then how could he take stand of others. If he is to take stand for anyone then he is taken as trash. And you can see he is very desperate for love of family so he does what they say. I actually feel bad for him. No one understands him, only abhira was there for him who cared for him genuinely, then there were abhira and Armaan's happiness ka enemies who cant see their smile so they separated them. Since they both got the news of their divorce they felt empty and sad as they were each others happiness.

Jo bhi bolo, galati sirf Armaan ki nahi hain..Abhira ki bhi hain. Armaan has grown up in that toxic household, under the pressure of his family, as an outsider. So obviously it's not easy for him to come out from that so easily. But Abhira is strong, she could handle situation differently but she also went under the pressure of dadisa and lied in the court. Armaan clearly doesn't love Ruhi, he is willingly dominating his feelings for Abhira and Abhira is also responsible for this along with poddars..she is willingly creating misunderstandings
