Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, and Amanda Bynes are just the first people I can think of who were screwed over by the media when they were at the lowest point of their life. Not Diddy related, but on the topic of the media and the public absolutely tearing down a celebrity when they are clearly struggling.
I am no fan of Justin Bieber, but that man is owed a big apology from a LOT of people in his life and a lot of hugs. Hope he continues to heal. (And that does not mean I am justifying his poor behavior and substance abuse. Two things can be true, someone was a victim and they have accountability for their actions).
Apologies but not hugs. People shouldn’t be owed access to anyone else’s body, even for a hug that’s supposed to be accommodating an apology. It’s so weird and sad seeing some of the press and interviews around Justin Bieber throughout the eyes of an adult. I just keep thinking of his interactions with Ellen, Katy Perry, and Jenny Mcarthy
I feel bad for him but when he wrote in that book at the Anne frank house “hopefully she would’ve been a Belieber,” I LOST it 😂 and the killing part is if you read her diary, you know she probably would have been if she was a few generations later
