I love singing this song whenever I'm upset! It always brings a smile too my face and I like to think my veteran grandpas Luke, and Hershel are singing with me.
about Tipperary: my Grandfather was a soldier in the 38th (Royal Ottawa) Battalion of the Royal Canadian Expeditionary Force fighting over in Europe in the WW1. He taught me the song this way when I was very little. When I was 17 or 18 he took me aside and taught me the *_real_* words. Holy cow! A Grampa I had never known before, bless the old bugger!
For all those people who read the American girl series when they were younger (like me): Pack up your troubles is the song that Kit was named after! “Pack up your troubles in an old kit bag” random fun fact. 🤷🏻♀️
This one is a great pick me up… whenever I’m down I can always throw this on in the shed and go muck about with my old WWII vehicles… looking at them & listening to this whatever I’m dealing with it could always be much worse.
After packing...i love to go a wandering along the countryside at peace with Nature..with the yellow birds chirping away from branch to branch. Truly no township hypocrisy as Shakespeare said 'there is a dagger in every man's smile'. It is just a shadow of your smile and nothing else what can it be?
@@ChickenNugget-dk9hp it's not the worst take on classical music I've seen. It will never beat the originals, of course. However, these songs sound better on my speakers.
Chicken Nugget dude the 2010 - 2020 generations are all about fortnite and REALLY LIKE REALLY AUTO TUNED MUSIC. Have u heard tecca, laroi, trippie, and other rappers/singers?!? I think you should be shamed of what ur generation is like. And if u dont like it then go away what brings u here?!?
We used to sing these two songs as a medley at The Rose and Crown pub in Waikiki when I wasstationed at Pearl Harbor aboard the USS Omaha (SSN 692) backing the early '80's.
Pack up your troubles in your old kit bag And smile, smile, smile. Don't let your joy and laughter hear the snag Smile boys, that's the style What's the use of worrying It never was worth while So, pack up your troubles in your old kit bag And smile, smile, smile. Just pucker up and whistle What's the use of worrying It never was worth while So, pack up your troubles in your old kit bag And smile, smile, smile.
With 9 women honoring the heroes of not only Great Britain, but all the Allied forces, why is the one woman the only one featured? I've been trying to find info on these women and the group as a whole and have been woefully unsuccessful. Any direction?
Pack up troubles in your old kit bag and return from Tipperary, your friends died raiding in Somme and the army need you to take a trench in a frenchie place.
There's probably a little effect on the mics but don't think it's auto tune. More likely just the echo of multiple ppl singing at once along with mic echo
Listening to this while I’m in isolation due to COVID19 ❤️
❤❤❤
Me too
Best wishes to you from a Tipperary man
yeah me too

in the loving memory of our fallen men in the war, especially those who fell from the sky
My dear departed Grandma used to sing this among other war songs but she never said Tipperary lol. So proud
Sorry for the loss
Thank you Ollie. It has been 13 years since she passed but it still seems like only yesterday and hearing these songs always reminds me of her

I love it, amazing music. Encore!
It's a shame that my fellow youth cannot enjoy this music as much as I do.
WorldOf Tomorrow this is autotuned to hell and is terrible
@@ChickenNugget-dk9hp then listen to something else. You clearly do not like this type of music.
WorldOf Tomorrow I love real classical 40s music but not this. Autotuned to hell doesn’t count as music.

THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE ITS A LONG WAY TO TIPPERARY

Unfortanitely not the British version, but still very good
But never three on a match.
WW2 in ks2 history books:
Can I hear autotune or something?!?!?!
multiple people singing at once? is that what your hearing maybe?
Dylan Allahar perhaps
I think I can hear it too
It sounds a lot like autotune indeed.

I will not lie, The notes kinda ruined the old song.
