Dude, you went old school with the dry erase board and everything. Hands down, this is the best video I have seen dealing with these topics in a no-nonsense way. Thanks brother!
As a layperson filing a civil suit, the information you provide here is immensely helpful to inform my understanding of essential vocabulary and the proper steps and sequence I can expect with my case. Many, many thanks.
David you are an awesome Lawyer! Your charts/explanations are so good. I really appreciate you taking the time to hand write your boards. The timeline being drawn out twice first as 1/2 then as a whole helped make the information digestable.
This is the best overview I've seen of the legal process and I'm currently about 3/4 of the way through the Jurisdictionary course. I do not mean to slight the Jurisdictionary course because it's quite good as well, but this overview is outstanding, and this presentation appeals better to the way I learn. Thank you very much, I am now subscribed to your channel!
I am also taking the Jurisdictionary courses through Dr Fredrick Graves but don’t forget his section on natural law as it pertains to direct evidence and material facts. Natural law is superior to positive law as positive law relates to the social sciences involving game theory. You certainly need to research and study the different methods of business strategy of games if you are going to understand the adversarial system as well.
Dear David; I am a new licensee. I do not have a real practice the law so I am preparing the practice. I have found that your lectures are so easy to understand to follow. I have studied with a lot of materials and teachers but I found that these were not easy to me. Now, I am getting a competent through your teaching. Yes, I will exam all of your lectures everyday. Thank you!!
I am a freshman in high school taking a intro to law course. This video has been very helpful, I look forward to using your videos the rest of the school year ! Thank you !

This was amazing! you made this so much easier to absorb than the text I was assigned. Also, your Texan accent will ensure I never forget the word Voir-"DEER" lol -- Thank you
In District court when defendant ignores, judges request for filling his brief, there is a Default of Clerk entered, same way in appeals court, when Appellee, ignores judges request to file his broef, what is entered?
Can someone answer or confirm a basic question? Do the federal rules of civil procedure apply in local and state courts? Or do state courts have their own rules? Specifically I'm in NY and we have the CPLR. Does that supersede or work in concert with the federal rules? Also, might there be a citation to support the answer? I'm wondering for family court in NY, and regular civil proceedings. Thanks. =]
You are amazing! I love your videos, you explain things easily and it is not hard at all to pay attention to you. Thank you so much for making this channel I am absolutely subscribed🥰

Civil Procedure Rules were brought to UK from USA by Mr Blair nineties UK prime minister. UK were better without the CPR. It confusing especially for solicitors and barristers let alone litigants in person.
