Qusetion In real life , what would be best practice to deploy a new schema changes , would you stop cosumer and producer during that time you doing schema changes ?
i am new to the cloud platform. I have schema file as .pb file. Now i wanted to convert the .pb file into json. Can you help me to change the file into json? The reason is, i am migrating the google IOT dataflow into Azure IOT hub.
Hey Tim! I'm wondering if wouldn't make sense in the near future having AsyncAPI included (in some way) into schema registry. Bad idea ? Why not centralize specification and service documentation regarding our asynchronous microservices connected to kafka in a central spot, which is inherently coupled to producers and consumers (and maybe providing html doc for human as well). Thoughts?
I love this guy! Thank you!
I have learned so much from those videos. thank you

no, the new schema is produced to the same topic but with a new schemaID, the consumer pulls the schema from the registry when it needs to consume it.
Great Presentation Tim !!!! I always get affected by your passion for Kafka !!!
i realize Im pretty randomly asking but does anybody know a good place to watch newly released tv shows online?
@Dominick Augustus I would suggest Flixzone. Just google for it =)
@Pierce Chance Definitely, have been using Flixzone for months myself :D
@Pierce Chance Thanks, I signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) Appreciate it !
@Dominick Augustus no problem =)
@Tim , Does Schema Registry act as a Anti Corruption Layer between Producer and Consumer Systems ? Is my understanding correct.

This series isn't very intuitive. Use of diagrams would have been great.
I think you need at least 3 years of experience in development (maintenance doesn't count) before you listen to him.
Someone messed with the russian closed caption.
I keep seeing Simon Pegg
Kafka is problably more important than kubernetes when talking about modern systems.... don't hate me k8ers, i know how k8s is awesome too.
Is this tv shows or science? Sounds like a sales man.
Confluent it not stable n shoddy product..wasted lot of my time on it..avro is top of the list..
