Yes please 🙏🏼 looking forward to it!
yes meli I hope the MANANANGGALS squad will be live on UA-cam.
we'll wait for your listening party. ☺️
Me 2
Proud bisdak here. Originally from Mindanao but now in Cebu
Filipino word of the day: kilig
Causing or characterized by a feeling of exhilaration or elation.
Hi meli.. I'm from Mindanao and when I went to cebu...wow... I used to speak kalaha, kalayo but in cebu it's kaha and kayo..
Try listening to Alamat po. They sing different Filipino languages and more. Sorry my eyes are drooping so I'll keep it short.
Omg yes! I used to follow them a lot and i know alas and gami (ex member) are bisaya 🤭
He mentioned in one of their Showbreak episodes when they went to Cebu, years ago, that his family (referring to his father's side, I presume since his Mom is Ilocana) is originally from Cebu.
Suson is my paternal's mother's last name. They have large clans in Cebu specifically in Bogo Cebu. If Ken/Felip's father is originally from Cebu, we might be related LOL 😁😁😁😁😁. And one more thing, most Suson I've known, pretty much good looking people LOL and a good singer. I am one of those unfortunate ones though who are not blessed with Suson looks and voice 😁😁😁😁😁 but my dad I am proud to say he is one good looking guy (really a Suson).
Meli, Maris Racal also represents Bisaya pop. Check out her song Asa Naman.
Ive heard of her! Didnt know shes bisaya!
So many bisaya artists out there!!
You should watch Casual Chuck vlog, he had translate this song in english😊
nalingaw ko sa inyong reaksiyon 😁
Daghang Salamat hehe
Makahimoot mo tatlo, ipasulod na cla sa swag aron makasabot ug maayo,BISDAK mapinaggaon🥰

The RV is fun to watch.
Thank you for watching!!
Luhh kahapon KO pa to inaabangan 🤣🤣 nice!
Ty for waiting! 😘
Mindanao bisaya is soft, Cebuano bisaya is strong
Two videos in a week? 😅 wow meli!
Right?? So clingy, @Meli. like give us some space bro. 😜✌🏽
We jam packed a lot of videos over a few weekends!! Stay tuned for more!! hehe...
The Bisaya in Mindanao is Sinugbuanong Bisaya, so it's like a variation of. Among kaliwat is Cebuano but born & raised in Mindanao so I could tell the difference in a way. You were right with your observation that the Bisaya used here is more of a literary variety of Bisaya but it's not exactly deep, like ludabi/balaknon deep. Personally, I think proper Cebuano is much "deeper". Anyways, it's fun vibing to a sultry Bisaya r&b track. It's funny coz I can picture a young guy arguing with his girlfriend while listening to the lyrics. It's exactly how my younger guy friends speak so I can't help thinking this must be based on real life events 😅
❤️christian
Im enjoying watching it with you guys🥰
🥰🥰🥰
Tawang tawa ako na nilagay nyo ung tawa ni ken.. 🤣
Traditional is right n so many ways.Mindanao has not bn really encroachd by colonizers so it's less Catholics &less asian since trades& old cities are cebu& rest of visayas where most mixed& mestizos. He's not Subanen, pipol dwel n suba or river but his neighbors are.Theyr the orig Filipinos similar to Manobos.Thats why he has so much passion &used gongs n bulan song. And yes dark skin.Lets say he's pure Filipino never bn mixed. Wow!
Meli Mori's Bisaya Too! React Her Undangon Ta Ni Dance Version. Bisdak Sakalam! 😊😊😊
Ooohhh ok ok I’ll try and check it out!

I enjoyed watching this and I liked the way this was edited Meli
You would love his new EP, he inserted some Bisaya words there! Ken is from Pagadian, Zamboanga del Sur as he said in one of his interviews. Bisdak kaayo!

Your rv is always cool, happiness spreads...im excited see ur reaction to Straydogs MV..also Felip did a concert at Ayala Mall, he and the audience was so hype.. from a fancam vid, so good to watch. 😉🤩
Stay tuned for more RVs!! Thank you for watching and supporting ^_^
There's a lot of Bisaya dialect in Mindanao. Of course, there are obvious similarities but there are a lot of differences as well. The word "patis" for example. In Cebu, it means soy sauce but in Lakewood (where Felip came from) it means fish sauce. Bisaya in general is like Tagalog. It has a unique dialect based on the region where it's used.
Hala, naglibog nako….Kay toyo soy sauce unya ang patis fish sauce diri sa among balay Cebu 😅😂❤
This is so fascinating to me ahaha i love learning the differences bec i also know tagalog and the way some similar words mean different as well in both languages haha
@@carmelia1518 siguro based gyud asa gikan. Kay majority sa akoang mga kaila nga Cebu native kay mag-refer sa soy sauce when they say "patis".
@@meliiimae Bisaya is quite a language to learn. But it's easy to figure out what words mean when you're exposed to the different dialects. If these little things facinate you, there are even more reasons why the language is fascinating once you dig deep. I'm happy Felip (a kababayan) is making art and music using the language. It's about time people, and Filipinos in general, become familiar with the language and appreciate its musical potential. There are a lot of hidden gems in OPM that's written in Bisaya! 🤟
ooo! love learning the differences between dialects :O
OMG!! Meli, I didn't know bisaya sad diay ka🤩. Subscribed♥️♥️. I always watch Paige on her channel reacting to SB19! And I get to check on your channel coz she mentioned you a lot during SB 19 US tour. Maka happy lang kay bisaya ka yeyyyy and you also love SB19🥰🥰❣️❣️❣️
We love paige!! Thank you for supporting both paige and ate meli! more to come :)
🥰
Pa mine po ako kay Christian hahaha
I guess the next reaction is about the whole SB19 boys ? I wish those 2 friends will still react with you Meli 5😊, btw, thanks for this reaction 😍
Hoping to release our mana one soon!
hehe... let's see what the future holds :b
New subscribers here 😊 Ken is my bias too. I went to Dallas concert and it was the 1st time i went to Sb19 concert and I had a blast. I am bisaya too ❤
cebuano dialect is the lazy dialect...Bisaya here . We always say words in short cut, like balay to bay, wala to wa
Just stumbled in this RV, just made me wonder, didn't you turn on the english caption? 😊
i actually speak bisaya. i was born in cebu
Cebuanos represent! Ambot sa imong lubot 😄
HAHAHAHA classic
HAHAHAA
Born and raised in the Philippines before I moved to Canada. I'm also from Cagayan de Oro where Felip went to school. Making that distinction because that's most likely where he learned Bisaya. People from Zamboangga speak Chavacano (Spanish Creole) not Bisaya. There's not a lot of difference between Cebuano Bisaya, Cagayan de Oro Bisaya and Davao Bisaya. You should be able to catch most of what Felip is saying. Cebuano Bisaya does have a harder pronunciation. The Bisaya from each city has regional terms that can cause confusion, but not enough to prevent full conversations. And no, CDO Bisaya is not any more formal than Cebuano or Davao Bisaya. But Felip is using deep Bisaya in Palayo or rather he's using Bisaya terms versus borrowed English words that in casual conversations we wouldn't use.
Also, there are very Famous Bisaya pop icons in the Philippines. Bisaya songs were just not given as much love as Palayo. The most notable of these are: Morissette Amon (Cebu), KZ Tandingan (Davao), Karencitta (Cebu) - check out her Karencitta track, Arthur Nery (Cagayan de Oro), Jroa (Cebu) and of course, there's Pilita Corrales if you want someone from the older generation.
And lastly, it's the Ilonggos who are known as sweet talkers, largely because of how their language flows.
We actually talked about Chavacano the same night we filmed this video!! Meli and Christian actually know a lot. I had no idea!!
no one tell manny patrick got on the couch x_x
I don't think Mindanao bisaya is more deep bisaya, are we?🤔 but for sure we all can understand what's kuan.😅
Actually, I think it's the other way around. Cebuano bisaya is way deeper and serious than Mindanao bisaya. Mindanao bisaya is more slang while Cebuano bisaya is more accented and stressed. Hehe
I'm from Mindanao and I agree with you ri ri.
Cebuano is more deeper bisaya than in Mindanao that is mix tagalog, Spanish and slang bisaya.
Just saying Cebuano bisaya is what i can call lazy bisaya.. like for example.. the word " wala " in Cebuano they say it as wa'a... While in Mindanao.. they will say "wala"...
@@enzoinakerosales6692 it depends where in Mindanao. I’m from Agusan del Norte and we also omit the ‘L’. My friends on the other side of Mindanao (Zamboanga del Norte yata) uses it on those words.
Ooohhh interesting! Thanks for the insight! I think we just think mindanao is deeper bec we only know the slang bisaya ahaha but that’s bec we grew up here in the US. But thanks for letting us know!
I think it's waray? Not the general bisaya. Not sure though. ❤🎤
most visayan languages, i believe, are rooted in cebuano, even in mindanao.. the only deep word that i hear in this song is "panalipod" which means "defend". i'm a cebuano and i'd say the words in the lyrics are pretty much expressed in the most modern way. i'm guessing the reason why you don't really recognize the words in the song is because the cebuano you know is the ones mostly used in the household setting..😅 i love your rv's❤❤❤
Actually Felip's cebuano lyrics is not deep. Just a normal level.
KZ Tandingan has a lot of songs that has Bisaya in the lyrics you should check her out she's the one who revolutionized the Pop songs infused with Bisaya here in the Philippines but Felip is a different breed they both have the same mind set and courage to make songs that are out of the box and breaking the stereotypes.
Ooo!! Should we react to more bisaya artists? :O
@@alyvonshnalyvids yup as Bisaya my self will surely appreciate it.
