Tainui crossing Tāmaki Makaurau isthmus to be re-enacted

An event that follows the original movements of the historic Tainui waka both on water and on land is set to take place this weekend. As Krystal-lee Brown reports, a flotilla of waka ama and waka tangata are set to take part, but unlike traditional times, these days the portage crossers need traffic assistance.
