  • C is for CHEST CLIP
    *
The chest clip is a "pre-crash positioner"
    *
With a properly tightened harness and properly placed chest clip at armpit level, the chest clip's job is to ensure the shoulder portion of the harness is in its correct position, on the child's bones, before a crash takes place.

DID YOU KNOW? Chest clips often break open or move down in a crash. It's there for that moment of impact. If the chest clip is placed too low, the harness may slip from the child's shoulders, risking injury or ejection from the car seat in a crash.
