That moment before it hits the corner, I swear, it feels like time is going in slow motion. Your mind predicted it would double bounce, but as it slowly creeps closer, and time comes crawling to a near standstill, you feel it. Deeper than your bones, in the soul, you know what's about to happen. Before now, you anticipated it, but never expected it to really happen this time. You always waited for the next bounce, but now it's here.
This is it. You donct really know what to do once it hits, what happens after? The journey is finally coming to a close. Does time end? Does it parabolically slow to infinitely smaller units of passage? Is there anything after it hits? But it will hit regardless of your thoughts. You know it, and it's time to accept it. A part of you almost misses that time you spent waiting, watching helplessly as it bounced freely, yet so trapped in inevitability.
It almost reminded you of yourself, trapped in the confines of life, limits set by countless greater powers both tangible and otherwise. Aimlessly bouncing from one point to the next, with no idea where the future would take you. But thatcs where the similarities end. The dvd logo gas reached its end goal. It is about to hit the corner. Mere pixels remain between the logo and the corner, between life and death, between nothing... and everything.
You enjoyed the journey, admired the path here for all it had to offer, but as is true in all facets in life, all beautiful things must come to an end. A beautiful, spalectacular, explosive end that will captivate your thoughts, your memory, perhaps your entire world, if only briefly. You brace yourself, silence your thoughts, and anticipate it.
This is it.
It's time.
You can almost feel it's solemn joy.
It's about to meet its end.
Yet it embraces it warmly.

Necroing this comment - I get where you're coming from, absolutely don't deserve any slack you might be getting. That said, I can absolutely say some of my favorite songs could qualify as "jokey". Primus - Wynona's Big Brown Beaver, Knower - Butts T*ts Money, Rich White Ladies - White Powder Perm and pretty much anything by GWAR. It's common in the art world to be dismissive of art that's also entertaining. Not saying you're doing so, but your comment absolutely made me think of that.
This song is so perfect in every way. Like it is hilarious but his voice is also incredible (WOW that falsetto) and the beat absolutely slaps. Like I honestly think this is my new favorite song.

Jazz Emu is really assembling the “Obscure Shared Experiences” Avengers.
He put the energy of all he’s ever felt into a short amount of time, that of which we might be able to comprehend. All of the effort he put in to see the ultimatum of happiness has been put into a 2 minute video of pure emotion. He made this so we can feel a fraction of his happiness, even though it caused him turmoil and sadness, it all was not for naught. He understands the needs of the people, so he made something everyone can relate to. This video, no, this piece of art is a masterpiece, something that can be enjoyed by everyone, something that is pure happiness.
If only this guy was in the early 2010s, he would be an international super star
