Any receiver that pushes Lazard down the depth chart is a welcome one

Was hoping Brownlee would step up. Bigger body, great hands etc.

I think he will make the team. I think for this season, he might be the number 3 or 4. Let's wait until the pads are on.

I was more impressed by him as a WR last year than as a returner. Outside of that one play, he looked more like a liability on return than an asset. Maybe Corley takes over as the returner while he takes more reps as a receiver this year? I could see him being our own Kalil Shakir; shifty, sneaky, strong hands, and the kind of guy who you fear won’t pop back up after making the catch and getting cracked between two DBS/LBs, but springs back up with the ball in hand. Ian said he reminded him of Kerley, and I think that’s a good comp, and would be a great guy to have in our WR corps. I also think there’s plenty of space on this roster for both Gipson and Corley; yeah, they’re both slot guys, but they have different strengths/skillsets. The only issue I can foresee is whether or not Hackett has enough brain cells to figure out the rights ways to utilize the two of them.

I would like to see some formations with garrett, corley, and gipson on the field at the same time. I feel like the 3 of them could wreak havoc in crossing routes, rub routes, the occasional screen, and every so often let one of them loose on a deep route. If hackett works with rodgers (aka listens to him) well enough i can see that being a nice wrinkle in the offense to at least get them to when mike williams is healthy enough

Are fans really surprised by this? This staff has proven time and again that they love them some Xavier Gipson.

How this coaching staff doesn't see the talent we have in Jason Brownlee is beyond me? Small body receivers that high in the depth chart that are actually good, are few and far between. Meaning Gibson.

OTAs and mini camp mean a lot for WRs and CBs bc u can evaluate route running, catching, and coverage without contact.
