I saw Disturbed live back in 2016, and they played this song in a football stadium in Hershey PA, and I can tell you that there were more than 10,000 people at that show. When this song started playing, and when they reached the Lyrics "Ten Thousand Fists in the air", Everyone's fists went up, including mine. I remember seeing that and being awe struck.

I listened to them when I worked with my dad and brothers outside. When I was getting my permit for my drivers license, my dad made me drive to school every morning. It was a good 10-15 min drive depending. This song was one of the first ones we listened to to get us pumped up for the day. It will be the song played, by piano, my father walks me down the aisle with if I get married. Sound of Silence is also the song I will surprise him with for the Father Daughter dance. Disturbed is truly part of my childhood and my life today.

When I was 20 years old in the military starting off - this album pushed me to become an absolute beast, a specimen of athletic greatness. 70 push ups in 1 minute closed fists, 6 minute miles, benching over 350 lbs at my max. I only weighed 195 too. I had shoulders that were almost touching my ears when I flexed. This album pumped straight venom adrenaline throughout my body. Testosterone filled junkie!!

This is one of the best legendary albums ever created in rock music and to this day its still legendary. My childhood was amazing because of bands like disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, Linkin Park, Bullet For My Valentine, and many more.
I'm not even metal/hard rock (I don't know what genre this is) fan, but I still really loved this album when it came out. Even now I still play some songs from it from time to time. It really crossed boundaries of it's own style/fanbase.
