For those who have never been to the Bronx, this video doesn't represent the entire area. It focuses on 149th Street and 3rd Avenue, where few individuals seem too comfortable in their situation. While I want to help, I can't. U see the police in the video keeping everyone safe and having him under control. The Bronx is a culturally rich place with a lot of diversity, and if you don't bother people, nobody is going to bother you. As you can see, I'm walking and filming with my phone on a gimbal, and nobody approached me. The Bronx is a land of freedom where you can do whatever you want, a place I truly admire and enjoy. My intention was to add variety and action to the channel, not to offend anyone. I love the Bronx and plan to film more beautiful places. Check out this recent video from one of the richest neighborhoods in the Bronx: ua-cam.com/video/1NYFJ6-T4Ik/v-deo.htmlsi=gEWKgrjUyUfV1MWl

Most Dangerous what? that's a stretch. Lived in the Bronx most of my life. 95% of the Bronx is a walk in the park, and I mean that. A title change is in order buddy. You ever grew up in the Bronx during the Apex of the Crack era? shhheeeeeeeeetttt!!!

I’m glad you clarified that. However that title is misleading. I hope when you eventually visit the dangerous hood of Brooklyn such as Brownsville, ENY, Canarsie, E Flatbush, Crown Heights. Hope you’ll title it the same. Cause so far you’ve only been to the “nice” areas of Brooklyn. Covered some areas twice even.

As a person born and raised in the Bronx, it's not dangerous, just poor. The Bronx is full of loving, hardworking people. They are true hidden gems in the borough. However, like any neighborhood, there are less desirable parts. You have to be street-smart wherever you go.

My mom worked on 3 Ave and 149 St Alexander's, where l went after to school to pick up her up. She worked at the counter where you would get a sandwich and milkshake. When she got off work late at night we would sometimes walk home without a care in the world. Sometimes she would forget to lock our doors, but there was nothing to worry about. Yes! in the 50's and 60's it was safe and a clean area. With tears in my eyes, and a broken heart for what has happened. Many important people came from the Bronx- just to name a few, Al Pacino, Ralph Lauren, Lauren Bacall and many, many more. l lived in a beautiful Building with a beautiful lobby and a 24 hour doorman on the Concourse. The Concourse was the Park Avenue of the Bronx. Sunday's my friends and l would go to the Loews Theater on Fordham Rd, and afterwards we went to Jahn's ice cream parlor for the kitchen Sink which was a Banana Split Sundae

Bless us and save us!!!!😱 I can't believe I walked through these very streets while growing up in Mott Haven over sixty years ago that the entire districts, especially Fordham Road, turned the Bronx into a smut and filth borough today. How can it be that Fordham was once a popular shopping site where you could spend the weekends with your family visiting stores, eating in small delicatessens, and participating in social street activities all year round? Watching this upload is not only shocking, but it fills my heart with despair to find nothing but disorder and mayhem among the neighborhoods that were pristine at one time, with residents who rigorously precedented in maintaining the quality of life in the Bronx. Judging by the current outlook of the streets and blocks, I wouldn't go near my old neighborhood if you promised me room and board at the Waldorf because it comes as no surprise that an invader would cut my throat to apprehend my $10.00 watch.

You're not alone, it's in every desirable U.S. city now.
It's exactly the opposite here and for me and the rest of us so called "Left Overs" in my good 'ol neighborhood.
It's gentrified and almost entirely racially exclusive now and attempting to become shi shi west.
My landlord (read scumbag) has attempted to unlawfully evict me six times since 2000 because of greed with some prejudice mixed in.

I visit my sister who lives in the Bronx near 171st & Washington Ave. I’ve never felt scared. It indeed looks this way,and most people leave you alone minding their business. However, with that said, it is an urban jungle. Ugly landscape, littered streets. Crackheads prevalent especially early mornings on Tremont Ave. Most crimes happen at night time as with any other city worldwide. Guns are a common problem with young males. There are pockets of old italian neighborhoods scattered throughout the Bronx, but those are slowly dying out because the younger generation of Italians don’t want to run the family businesses. Gentrification is currently happening in 2024, forcing out many Hispanic and native African residents to leave due to skyrocketing rent prices

We tried to go to as many different boroughs / areas as possible but six days weren't enough to cover it all. Mainly Manhattan, part of Brooklyn, Staten Island and we barely set a foot in Harlem, not even knowing we were there. My wife is from Wenzhou and I realized a lot of Wenzhounese had settled in Queens, so if you have any tip as to where to go next time, which place to see and where to meet the locals, etc I'd be glad. If you're not from there, just ignore this haha. Cheers from Paris.

I visited NYC from Australia in late March/early April and before leaving to visit to Chicago I attended the Yankee's season opener against the Blue Jays with my mother, after the game I walked around the Bronx attempting to get an uber/taxi to LaGuardia with no luck, people in Manhattan were telling us to avoid some areas surrounding the stadium but was forced to walk around. There were elements of drug use and poor people like most places where normal people live but I did not feel unsafe, people noticed that I was lost and offered directions. I noticed HEAPS of gum on the footpath. Other than that everyone stuck in their lane and did their thing. I loved the sounds & multiculturism and am looking forward to returning to NYC!
