The LEGENDS are back!! So different and unexpected but also very SHINee like. So Key was the one who designed and directed their stage costumes since SWC4 (2015) and continue to do so till now (including their MV costume concepts). He was appointed as Vogue’s fashion director and has worked with multiple designers as well.
Officially since 2014 he is been desiging. ☺
In this MV the fashion ideas were given by Key. Also, the fashion in their world tour in 2015 was signed by Key. He wanted to be part of it so he asked the company, they scheduled a meeting to discuss it and he went to this meeting with everything prepared, presented the concepts, identities, the estimated manufacturing costs, the time for creative direction, the material and etc, he even said that he prepared himself to persuade the company if they didn't agree with some outfit, but in the end, they accept all at once. There is a video of him showing the powerpoint presentation that he presented to the company. After that, the company started asking for his inputs and gave more opportunities for him. He is well known in the fashion industry and even was an editor in Elle Korea. Besides that, he has a Master Degree in Culture and Education Contents Development and his thesis was "The Influence of styling education on appearance satisfaction and self-esteem of Korean adolescent".

This year is deffo the rise of 2nd gen idols 😭 Key is the one who designed the outfits. Also you’re right SHINee did change the game, no one was really doing rigorous and complex choreos before them. They also started the dance practice trend and the choreo to their song Sherlock (which is iconic btw) was the most expensive SM choreo ever. PLEASE react to their album and Got7’s new song encore, plus Yugyeom’s franchise dance visual.

2nd gen. 13 years. And they hit so hard. SHINee is timeless. Trendsetters, SHINee is the concept.
Vocals, choreo, visuals - everything so good. And Key is involved in the design of the outfit for this. Such talented guys.
Since 2015 the boys have been more involved in the whole process of making the albums as a team. And yes, Key designed the costumes for SW2015, prepared a lot to become a designer, and was promoted to fashion director at SM.
In this 7th album, Key was in charge of the design and style of the entire outfits and Taemin of the choreography.
Key has stated that he likes to try something new to look different from others and that instead of being limited by fashion, he cares more about attitude towards fashion and that is where the subject of his master's thesis came up. 😍 5HINee’s back!!!💎
Shinee was the standard of stable vocals with great dancing skill in gen 2 and now shinee is back they're still very unique and gonna inspire more generation with their colors

Great reaction! I have watched this MV now 3-4 times and when you said something about the blonde female backup dancer, I was like there were backup dancers? That’s just how much I was mesmerized by Shinee! I too was blown away by their fashion clothing in this MV! So fantastically captivating! Great song and choreo too! This time I focused more on the lyrics which were so memorable and relatable!

My Shawol heart is SOOOO happy! I'm pretty sure Key must have had a hand in the fashion choices, they're incredible. The dance was freaking awesome...but then anytime Taemin moves it's always amazing. LOL And that piano bridge...that thing killed me! It had this old-school Latin vibe that I've never heard on another KPOP song.
