I’m impressed you immediately recognized Journey . . . not many reactions caught that or even knew that! I am disappointed they didn’t use En Vogue as much separately . . . they should’ve had more separate vocals singing at least one or two lines showing off their strong (at 3/4 strong compared to the original 4) vocal harmonies.
I was young in 1989, but boy bands weren't my thing, so I didn't listen to these guys. But, this video is amazing. Makes me feel ancient, because I got every reference...lol.
you should check out some of their other videos. Last year they released Boys in the Band featuring Debbie Gibson and some other boy bands. They also released 80's Baby a few years ago with Salt n Pepa, Debbie G, Tiffany and Naughty by Nature. They are all very catchy tunes.
I didn't really care for the song, but the video is amazing! It has all of THE RIGHT STUFF. I like when they were dressed up as Twisted Sister and they had the first New Kids album up on the wall lol.

Rick was Talking Heads. In Vogue was Mickey and also Robert Palmer's back up band.
Loved your reaction-video 😊👍🏻
Rick Astley was David Byrne from Talking Heads.
Donnie Wahlberg is a genius! This guy can do everything! He comes up with all of their stuff while still on Blue Bloods.
The best part is Eddie and Baez in the Flock of Seagulls vid. Genius!

E Vogue was the background girls in the Robert Palmer part and the through back part to Toni Basil’s “Mickey”
Great they worked in (more than) a tribute to Robert Palmer, who passed in 2003.
Donnie Wahlberg was Max Headroom
Yeah, it was Duran Duran--the suits, styled hair and make-up give it away. I loved Duran Duran as a teen.
When I first saw the Music Video and saw them on the raft, my mind drew a blank until I asked about it
I'm a big of theirs too 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Salt n pepa was doing Madonna Vogue.
I think he recognized the "heels tall, bikini small" from LL's "Going Back to Cali".
It was a toss up between Madonna's "Vogue" and LL Cool J's "Mama Said Knock You Out" for me. Maybe a combination of the two?
Finally someone who knows the references
Donnie was Max headroom 😊
Man, I came from the middle of the jungle in Brazil and recognized Duran Duran!
you should check out some of their other videos. Last year they released Boys in the Band featuring Debbie Gibson and some other boy bands. They also released 80's Baby a few years ago with Salt n Pepa, Debbie G, Tiffany and Naughty by Nature. They are all very catchy tunes.
Glad you know all the references
Robert Palmer! lol
Duran Duran lol love it
I did not really get salt n pepa's part until someone said it was vogue.
This was great. Yes en vogue did Mickey and the robert palmer women. Duran duran was done by nkotb. It is great.

Could New Kids left some black hair dye for the other aging rock acts?
Donnie Wahlberg was Max Headroom
