Love the sound L7 pump out on their mid-tempo tracks like bad things. The way those edgy, metronomic, low tuned guitars chug along, combined with that drum beat, is just so addictive - great band !
My favorite performance by Donita Sparks, she really head bangs and thrashes on stage more than usual in this one. And the look is probably my favorite, love the hair.
I just discovered this song a few days ago and I think it's awesome. I'm pretty new to l7 I just started to really listen to them now at age 37. I guess it's better now then never.
I love waching Gail bop around on that stage like a little kid....although she aint no kid. You can see she was into fitness, she looks sleek and trim.
Amazing band met them at london astoria in the 90s me n my m8s snuck downstairs while they were sound checking thought theyd be angry just came over and started chatting and done some autographs never forget it. And still kickin azz
I think one of the best live shows I have ever seen was L7 opening for Gwar, I cant remember what year it was. Of the hundreds of live shows that one I can still remember.
Had a chance to see them in the basement of an old school in Sioux City Iowa in 89 or 90 I think..My friend brought me back the coolest T-shirt..It's long gone but not my regret for not going...I will always fucking have that.
The best thing about L7 (apart from the music), is that by purposely trying *not* to be sexy, they actually made themselves all the more sexy (at least to me). I mean, who doesn't love 4 powerful and confident women kicking ass and playing serious rock and roll while giving no fucks??
I think it's great how they dive into the songs with such devotion. Each song seems to have it's own personality/flavour! I hope they do another year 2016 of just all the songs they have canned. In my imaginations I'm thinking they should just charge a lot of money for each gig to the producers/impresarios that want them. [not ticket prices though,as if?] - stretch out the time between each show, and forget about making up any new songs until 2017. There is a whole generation that doesn't know them yet. L7 has their foot in the door with a rather large following[waking back up] and they could leverage that support to increase their exposure. Many o the rock bands from the 90s are faded memories. No one is doing sounds like this right now: in my opinion.
Who are these guys with long hair? They look like women. Just kiddin, love L7. Still got my 10 inch "Smell the magic" coloured vinyl I bought way back.....when I had long hair.
It's not as good without Jennifer, but Donita, Suzi, and Dee still bringing it here. I saw L7 in '88, not long after Dee joined and they blew the other 2 bands off the stage and I was hooked. L7, Smell The Magic, and Bricks Are Heavy are 3 albums you need to go buy before the day is over, if you don't already have them.
Man, I live in Ireland! They played here once and I was six, hahahahaha! You have a better chance of seeing them now! If you do talk to them, tell them they still have one fan over here! You know they're talking about playing again, right? Oh wise and knowing one! :P
Piss Off i did not know that. i know donita had a solo thing and jen was in a bunch of bands. one called the shocker LOL. so i know they still like playing. that would be cool.....they were huge back in the early 90's.
u can tell donita is under the weather, amazing performance. sound guys should have been docked for screwing up the intro vocal to bad things and must have more. oh, and one more fucking thing, the audience is too fucking far away. this is a case of security run fucking amok. drama and shit list are still my fave. love L7.
+tomitstube and the 3 bass players for sure. jennifer... gail.. janis, and greta. this is all according to wiki. (accept the addition) quite simply the greatest girl band of all time. anyone want to dispute thjs? please... proceed with your argument.
Why didn't the media picked up and showed them more?, lame ass bands like Hole had a wider share of the spotlight in the Girl Rock scene in the 90s, what a shame.
Sempre assim vão abrir o vocal depois que a banda começa tocar Então porque da passagem de som Ok o vocal ta blz mais porque já não larga já de saida onde tem que ser😉😉😉😉😉
L7 represents those who have been rung through the ringer, having to live up to society's standards of what it takes to be a woman. "One, Two, Fuck You!" just about sums it up. I love this band. I don't think they need any lessons from Lemmy.
I'm sorry ... but these girls are just barely playing notes; not to mention the lack of testosterone needed to pull this genre off. For a perfect example of what I mean, go to any live Motorhead video and feel the difference.
One of the best bands of the 90s. Period.
I see what you did there ;)
Yeah...only saw them today here. And have an urge to comb all of their hair.
Love the sound L7 pump out on their mid-tempo tracks like bad things. The way those edgy, metronomic, low tuned guitars chug along, combined with that drum beat, is just so addictive - great band !

One of the greatest bands of all time. I was lucky to see them live.
Twice
Saw them a couple of months ago at Austin, Texas' Levitation Festival. Your chances of seeing them again are good.
L7 could rock Foo Fighters right off the stage.
XD
More like Boo Fighters am I right?
These girls could rock anyone off the stage! What an attitude.
Goddamn right!!
Who couldn't?
My favorite performance by Donita Sparks, she really head bangs and thrashes on stage more than usual in this one. And the look is probably my favorite, love the hair.
Always will love their music. Tight band.
😍🤩💃🕺🤘 Тот кто слушал это живьем, должен быть счастлив навсегда!
Saw them in Dallas back in the day. Cheers.Sparks forever
that was the best 18mins of my day.
.'m
Riff on Drama is an absolute killer! So glad they are back and touring! Grunge is BACK!
Steve W Oh yeah what a song ! and very nice vocals too !
i enjoy the 2 faces of suzi's voice : sometimes soft sometimes tough. very good live !
damn
wish i was there. glad to have discovered that band 5 years ago, still listening today :)
I just discovered this song a few days ago and I think it's awesome. I'm pretty new to l7 I just started to really listen to them now at age 37. I guess it's better now then never.
Love L7
I love waching Gail bop around on that stage like a little kid....although she aint no kid. You can see she was into fitness, she looks sleek and trim.
You won't come across many women like Donita ever, a true gem with the wits, however she comes is even better.
There's something wrong, yeah! I agree!
They got the groove going like a clock. Tighter than a lot of bands around that time.
Shitlist was amazing. Donita rocks
Lots of Melvins vibes in the slow, heavy numbers. i love it!
Buzz we love u!!!
Bitter Wine's still one of my favs from L7
What a perfomance !!!!!!!!!!!
I guess I just love them all. great players.
Amazing band met them at london astoria in the 90s me n my m8s snuck downstairs while they were sound checking thought theyd be angry just came over and started chatting and done some autographs never forget it. And still kickin azz
I hope to come to Florida since this is my new residence...I love these women..I've idoled a long time....
Nice live performance! Great band! Sure miss 'em...
Frickin' Awesome!
Saw them back in 1996, and was hooked for life. Bad ass.
+620Muzz saw them at RiotFest Chicago this year- I had no idea who they were but now I do. Great group! Really rock out!
I had some things I had to do today I had some things my head got in the way
Saw them many times. Even met them after a show & got the setlist signed. Killer band.
THANK YOU FOR SHARING IT! Thats' simply GREAT!
Thanks for this !
L7 rocks. I just I had discovered them earlier.
"Drama" is awesome, especially around 8:47 when all hell breaks loose.
10:50-15:25 is some of L7's finest work.
#bitterwine
Donita is my idol...
I think one of the best live shows I have ever seen was L7 opening for Gwar, I cant remember what year it was. Of the hundreds of live shows that one I can still remember.

"Drama's" riff it's sooooooooooo cool!! Sounds like Celtic Frost. Addicive.
Goddamn the are heavy as fuck! if this isn’t enough proof go watch their 93 Rock In Rio
love the drums
matt flores . me too Dee Plakas is a tough drummer.

Hey Flunder! they're back :-) get onto their mailing list for frees tuff
Awesome
oh hell yeah!!
Awesome 🇧🇷🤘

Exactly, this is real empowerment

+tomitstube really? do you really need the qualifier "girl" band?
Who's on bass here..??
Why didn't the media picked up and showed them more?, lame ass bands like Hole had a wider share of the spotlight in the Girl Rock scene in the 90s, what a shame.

Shit!
O show é foda mais o foda é ter que engolir essas propagandas de merda guela abaixo
I'm sorry ... but these girls are just barely playing notes; not to mention the lack of testosterone needed to pull this genre off. For a perfect example of what I mean, go to any live Motorhead video and feel the difference.
What a sexist shit to write. Lemmy would knock you off your socks for saying such bull. Hopefully you have grown up since your oiriginal comment.
If John Doe had seen Motorhead, he would probably know about Girlschool.
