actually for min heejin since her press conference and the proof she came with, she has turned a lot of koreans to her side against hybe + she was already very popular in the industry. Bang pd has done some shaddy things and we already had rumors about hybe controlling shows and votes in the kpop industry.
Apparently, all the images and narratives found on twitter were badly mistranslated by some international fans/geniuses who want to get ahead of what’s happening right now.
There’s a Korean who translated all the BS and it actually makes more sense. He also mentioned that people shouldn’t take the situation in a wide perspective because Korean culture is different.
He translated the first conference MHJ held in which she shows some of her convo with Hybe’s founder about the roots of the drama.
1. At SM, Lee Soo-man (SM’s founder) initially opposed MHJ’s resignation. But overtime, difference in direction between SM and her led to a separation. (different vision, I guess)
2. After MHJ’s resignation from SM, Bang Si-hyuk (Hybe’s founder) requested a meeting with her to apparently, recruit her.
3. They met and agreed to work together- he asked if they could step on (compete with) AESPA (here she found that they are actually not on the same page because that’s not what MHJ want and not to step on someone’s hard work.
4. Among the existing members at Source Music, the one who could work together with her was Minji (her compliments towards Minji were misunderstood/mistranslated btw). The reason she was chosen by Source music is because Bang suggested picking trainees from Source.
5. So they auditioned additional members for N-team (their name before coming up with NewJeans), but at the time of audition, due to the nature of the entertainment industry, they needed the names of previously successful singers, producers, or agencies to attract trainee applicants. Therefore, the current NJ members were gathered under the title as the first group from HYBE.
6. Suddenly, without any prior notice, there was a debut announcement for Le Sserafim from HYBE. Bang recruited MHJ to make a first HYBE Girl group and them they suddenly announce this?
7. MHJ became furious because she promoted this N-Team as the first GG of HYBE. Their debut fell through contrary to the agreement.
8. Amid her frustration, HYBE suggested debuting NJ as just another Source Music GG without sharing any additional plans.
9. Consequently, when NJ’s debut indefinitely postponed, she made ADOR using HYBE’s money to save NJ and debut them.
10. HYBE requested not to promote NewJeans to not harm LSF’s debut.
11. Despite NJ’s achieving success, Bang Si-hyuk isn’t amused and texted if MHJ is enjoying the success of NJ despite previously not congratulating or contacting her. This came off as insincere but rather sarcastic.
12. Just before the press conference that happened lately, HYBE engaged in media manipulation, falsely alleging that MHJ had consulted a shaman about BTS-related manners. This was untrue which she said. She simply discussed with an acquaintance whether BTS would go to the military considering NJ’s success on the timing of their success. She said that if Shaman can control BTS’ enlistment, why don’t everybody in SoKor ask a shaman to make them don’t go to military?
13. Originally, there was a contractual relationship where ownership rights were meaningless, but due to confidentiality obligations, separate disclosure wasn’t possible to reveal at the press conference.
14. Her lawyer stated that she only holds 18% share in ADOR and emphasized that this alone makes it impossible for here to seize control of management rights.
After all these successful music, MVs, collaborations and sponsors. I thought newjeans were HYBE’s princesses. Turns out they were actually just Cinderella.
Stay neutral yall. picking sides is actually crazy. Both parties are in the wrong which is affecting the girls. Mistranslation is quite dangerous as well. It makes the whole situation twisted. (Shows how it made people acting now towards the drama. They like a beast that just came out from their chains.
Man everything about this is so good ; the production , the vocals , the concept of the MV , NewJeans is just a phenomenally talented group , hope the whole corporate drama is resolved soon and doesn't affect the girls
MHJ is Korea's darling atm after her press conference, basically a David vs Goliath situation against HYBE and evil Bang PD

-hybe ceo who created BTS Hitman Bang hired Min Heejin and sub label ADOR(MHJ is ceo) to create a girl group and said it's going to be a first hybe girl group
-then during newjeans debut planning stage he dicided to debut another group(lesserafim) under souce music sub label withount MHJ consent with 2 former Izone celebrities Sakura and Chaewon(mhj showed bang's dms and her negative response during her press conference)
-newjeans didnt have any predebut promotions because he wanted to trick the public to think that LSF is the Min Heejin's group.
-Then Newjeans debuted after LSF and despite cold treatment from HYBE thanks to Min Heejin's genius and creative direction they outshined every other group in 4th gen including LSF and this made Hitman Bang extremely salty(you can watch the conference to see his dms). Newjeans use HYBE money but thats the only part of their success that he can claim.
-Then Bang debuted another group that will compete with NewJeans called ILLIT with the only purpose is to be a shameless newjeans clone in both concept, music style, member styling, choreographies etc and to show Min Heejin that she is replaceable and not that special?
-Min Heejin didnt like any of this, ILLIT was the final straw, some internal company fighting and disagreement started to happen, Bang decided to remove Min Heejin from the ADOR CEO position, HYBE justifies this by saying that MHJ has a masterplan to fully seize the control of ADOR while having only 18% stake and separate sub label from HYBE, she denies it, nobody knows right now the full picture and what's going to happen after all the court stuff with NJ and MHJ because NewJeans girls and their parents are fully on MHJ's side, korean public is also overwhelmingly on her side after the recent press conference, she also said she doesnt want to terminate her contract with HYBE

Ya, I also at first few times felt it sounds like a japanese citypop? But few times more later, THE bassline and basscolor don’t sound like a typical citypop, just my thought😊 I think it has an “another” reference^^

She has not left, she's actually refuting all the charges. The press conference actually turned a lot of Koreans to her side and against Hybe. Well see where it goes, but either way, it's gonna be bad for the girls. She brought up some stuff at the press that just broke my heart. 💔

it's called manipulation. she knows what she is doing with this press conferences. knetz can be easily manipulated by emotions. she wasn't being the brand officer for nothing. she has experience in this. and this bubble gum also a advantage for her because fans praising the production. she is smart. but HYBE has physical evidence. don't think she will win. but whatever happens hope the girls won't be affected badly.
@@Usery5439 unfortunately I think it already has. Believe what you wanna believe, but no matter what happens, all of this will affect the girls negatively. They've been silent on Phoning ever since all this happened and that's very rare for them. Especially since this MV just dropped. Minji does change her status every now and then to let us know she's thinking of the bunnies. So that is a good sign. But they're hurting for sure right now.
@@KpopPrinceBut the fact that Hybe started all this in NJ’s comeback week is insane. Yes it doesn’t really look good for her but Hybe’s status changed 360. She revealed all the dark facts that Hybe has discriminated against NJ so far. Hybe has been preventing the promotion of NJ from the beginning and a a lot of evidence has been captured. The most representative one is that there are 119 Le serafim videos, 36 Illit videos but 31 NJ videos on Hybe channel. They didn’t even let NJ release a teaser
