But once I watched them, and how well you sell the paths you play and your reactions to what happens...my first reaction on seeing this was a new MLP video was "YES!" So ty for being a great showman. Also the last video you did was the polar bears eating and mass annihilating the bug people power armor style...I have to wonder if the person behind that was a fan of Starship troopers now...

@@mordreek A lot of the older nations have a lot fewer flavour events (some like Ferdinand Dawnclaw have criminally few), it’s more recently that the paths have started becoming rather event heavy.
Some good stuff we added in adelart, near aquilea on Griffonia. The bandits part of the previous bears and bandits update. I've linked this in our discord and I'm sure the writers for the nation will be thankful for the compliments.
It's very historical, but it's too large and complex to manage, especially if there is a war going on at the same time. So it's exactly like real China.
Since it seems Stakuyi prefers war heavy nations over economy/lore heavy ones, I'd suggest a Worm Queen run. Good focus on war, and you have a bunch of really cool unique mechanics and units to discover. Though, this is admittedly something you need pre-knowledge to do since the Worm Queen path needs some pre-game setup to unlock.

Years ago a friend of mine introduced me to MLP. I watched it, first 'ironically' but very soon I grew quite fond of the show. But what really amazed me, was the fandom and the incredible creative output they created. Not only little fanfics and a few pictures - no. Music. A LOT of pretty great music, animations rivaling and even exceeding the quality of the show, full fledged game mods and so on. Sure there are - annoying cesspools in this fandom, as in any other you can think of. But by and large they still are a great crowd of crazy, creative and mostly harmless people :D
Hey, could you occasionally make a video explaining some of the historical references hidden in the paths of your videos? I have no idea what half of it is, so I would REALLY love to learn all of it!
You should give Zarantia a try I don't recommend the Harmonist route since it ends with the same old interventionist against supremacists, but the Non-Aligned and Supremacists path is very interesting. There's also a secret WC route if you go full theological that is definitely not in any reference to a certain Dune series
+1 for Zarantia secret route, but sadly it requires pre-game setup and also knowing the trigger for going from a horribly corrupt run to the secret path.

Yes you need to make civil war, if you want to go Harmonic , or the Supremacist company guy. I had to personally play this nation for 3 times , before not breaking into civil war with -500 Political power, when you dont have the requirements, or the political, because you opened 3 dammit roads, then pirates came like in monthy python (no one expects the Spanish Inquisition), and other bad stuff happening. 30:15 - Damn yeah , after finding this mod with Kirins , it was such a godly made, that i was impressed for whole month how every story, each character had written thoughts in their diaries, and actually great historical, while made to be funny mod, not just for playing but also learning, just great work with heart in it. Didnt watch my little pony series, but damn, this mod deserves to be recognized. 37:30 - Yes, the only reason why i see this as great Kirin mod, but the responsibilities to actually balance it all, is tiring job . interestingly, (if you didnt mention it i was not paying too much attention to the mass text) Kirins or Qilins are a Chinese mythological creature normally depicted in a deer like form said to signify a sage or ruler.
7:51 The Ikko Ikki practiced True Pure Land Buddhism, which is probably the most violent form of Buddhism ever created. Unless you count Shinto-Buddhism. Which I don't think is actually practiced, per-say, more so it's the concept of Buddhists and Shintoists agreeing that their religions are wholly compatible. Though considering Shintoism's followers for most of the religion's existence kinda just going to war all the time, True Pure Land Buddhists seem to especially fit.
If only this insane level of effort could be put into the alt-history/expanded history mods. This mod honestly puts the other hoi4 total conversion mods to shame and it's kinda hilarious.
I’d like to recommend my favorite nation in this mod, which is Communist Hippogriffia (aka Revolutionary North Zebrica) but it’s an extremely long playthrough to get through everything and it goes pretty much into post-wc content so my faith is low. Also it’s a lot of reading which isn’t necessary to do but it’s actually a pretty fun plot to go through Nuke fish for life tho
Honestly, I want to see him experience Viira's true path in the Barrad focus tree, but last i played that path was bugged because you need to send her to investigate the tree creatures and that option wasn't available - I had to use the console to change some settings so it thought I had done that.
Stakuyi you can get the suprematist/non aligned/communist paths only if the civil war happens, otherwise Kiria has no reason to steer away from harmonic since is the faction that managed the whole industrialization/stabilisation thing and it succeded
