I'm sure he knows this and it's 100% because he is a terran main, but Thermy, my man, please rally your hatcheries =D. You rally workers, yes, but there is a separate rally for army. It tickles me watching his army sitting by his hatcheries and he's forced to go back and select them individually. Anyhoo, good stuff as always
Yeah you can also hotkey the eggs of course. But I guess you can rely on the all army hotkey. Which is probably why his overseers suddenly took the long trip back 😂❤
@@ToTheNines87368 reminded me of marc making zerglings in a 2v2 where his ally left. He got confused/upset a bit because F2 wouldn't select the zerglings he made using said left ally's base.

I thought the same, but it's always a lot easier to think normally when you're just watching a game. When you play, you're usually non-stop in stress-mode xD
Since it's visible when engi bays are researching and you cant have multiple bays researching the same upgrade it would at least force the zerg to search for the new bays but wouldn't guarantee that he couldn't keep chain contaminating.
Hey Uthermal, idea: Win from only defending. You can’t attack. Only expand and defend expansions until your territory and defenses becomes so large that your opponent forfeits due to loss of hope. Maybe that’s a dumb idea, idk, but I think it could be fun watching them metaphorically punch an expanding brick wall until they just give up.
"I don't wanna do too many drops-actually, I do kinda wanna do too many drops, but I think it's a bad idea." I feel like this one line summarizes the struggle between Marc and the baboon. Which one is winning at any moment is not always obvious.

As a zerg, Dynasty is my "let's practice baneling busting" map. I take the gold, go up to 25 drones, then speedlings and banes when the bane nest goes up. Both Dynasty and Post-youth are very good for baneling busting because there's no wall between the main and the (pocket) nat.

U-thermal I invented cool challange for you. The rules are simple: - you just producing the invnisible terran units: mine, ghost and banshees + vikings You can use vikings or ghosts to destroy detection from opponent. Point is to destroy all possible detection of opponent and catch them when he overdoes the basic technological lines like protoss doing mass gateways or zerg staying on hatchery with mass roaches and banelings.
When he said overlord cheese, I was honestly surprised one of his main strategies wasn't "whoops I brought queens and put tumors on every base location, sorry you can't expand or even just build a barracks because creep is everywhere", I've always wondered if that would work but I suck at Zerg even more than the other two races so...
Hey Uthermal, idea: Roulette units on each army producing building. Each match will reset the random roulette and then play with that until the end. Keep up the great entertaining vids.
Do something no one else has done Uthermal (Beastyqt Hartem etc) The build is based around Neosteel Armor Turtle Terran. The only way to attack enemy base is to leap frog bunkers Upgraded bunker has +2 armor and of 6 stimmed marines is 88 dps
Regarding the overseers, I think it warrants doing some labbing. Figure out an actual build. How many overseers do you need to make in order to "permanantly" deny uppgrades, and when do you need to have them built? Also, I think it'd be fun if we knew a little more about which units benefits most from fighting low-upgrade units? Perhaps hydras smash units with low armor? Perhaps a single Ultralisk becomes unkilleable? Are Mutas extra effective when we have the extra vision and detection for mines etc? It's a very interesting build to explore since it's so open-ended!
Well, it didn't help that the plan in game 2 was "I should contaminate his factory so he can't make hellions" and immediately switched to delaying bio upgrades, thus corralling his opponent into hard countering him with hellions/hellbats, lol. That was some next level smoothbrain behavior.
I would really like to see you play more with brood lords, I know it's technically "done" in this challenge but that was a really fun game to watch. I think late-game siege units (brood lords, tempests) are the coolest but unfortunately underutilized mechanics due to their overall viability.

Plant creep near opponent's base. Broodlord is so great with spine and spore crawler. Maybe u should build some infestors as well. That's very hard to solve.

5:25 you don't need to scan an absolute baboon. Unless he has the strategy/apm skillset of a freak - like marc... Still, the scan will not make a difference in either case.
When you finish all of one race and you roll it again in random you should have to play it but only one of the units you’ve lost with prior, instead of ending the series with units not used.
Okay, I'm a nub, right, so by all means tell me I'm wrong and dumb, but... upgrades and features on units only cost about the same as one or two units, right. So at about 10 Blizzard minutes into the game any upgrade costs less than 0.5% of your supply. Then why not just buy all of them? Minus the ones you already have, that's less than 5% what you already have in supply, and you should have the resources to bereplace about 50-100% of that. If you make that 49.75% to 99.5% of your whole army replaced within a minute and you could make it purely perfect counters along with all the upgrades and features and whatnot. Why not just do that? I mean... Around 2 minutes into the game a 2% difference matters a lot and can escalate to a 2000% difference, but with ~10,000 resources mined and scouting back and forth the whole meta changes and sticking with an army composition becuase you have the upgrades just seems a matter of psycholigy to me since you can jsut buy all other upgrades and features in 1 more minute with 0.5% cost to your army, with a 2000% profit, assuming you know what counters the army your opponent has.
