A lovely portrait of Moreno Winterstein at the height of his musical powers demonstrating the depth & legacy of Jazz Manouche while thoroughly entertaining his French audience. Bravo!
Man this guy is amazing....a refreshing change amongst many Gypsy Jazz players who can sound similar....Moreno and Angelo Debarre are amazing!! Such soul, not just flashy speed which can get dull after a while....wow!!
Some years ago there was hardly any videos of Moreno in the net. I waited and searched. Now we have at least some. Thank you! Moreno has truely unique style and his playing is natural genuine. That's why I love his music.:)
Mike Thomas Kerr I can tell where at least. At a restaurant in french riveira called "the president". My dad used to work there and was one of Moreno's best friend.
On Top of His Game in these videos.Pretty stunning technique by anyones measure.
speed, energy and humor. Love these old vids of Moreno! You can also see the influence Tchan Tchou Vidal had on him -- e.g. the way he plays "Sheik"
