Hey man, I really appreciate your content, looking into getting my first BMW and binging your videos as prep work, but you really need to look into your audio levels. Your voice is constantly peaking and distorting, and your videos are somewhat jarring to listen to. Looking into the audio levels would be a great improvement to already great content!

How could some people (allegedly) not see a 'button' next to the glove box and not think that, gee whiz, maybe this opens it. If someone cannot see that, then they don't deserve such a car and they would seem to have more money than brains. RTFM is always helpful 😉 (look it up if anyone doesn't know that old abbreviation). Oh btw, a brilliant car, in my opinion!
Quick question…..i just took delivery of a 2023 X7 M60i. I’m coming from the previous generation X7. How do i get the driving assist pro plus to turn on. It’s activated in the i drive 8 menu…..but when i am in traffic, and it flashes on the dash as ready to turn on (in green), the button i used to press on my old X7 just turns off the assisted driving. And when i looked in the cars manual, it made it seem as if it happens automatically. Does it? Any ideas?
Hey ZK, Yes, when I was testing it. It did turn on automatically so now you no longer have to hit another button to go into it. Factors come into play of course. Has to be on the highway going below 40 and in a traffic jam. You can tell it’s on when you don’t have to keep your hands on the wheel every few seconds.
@@BeamerView yep - seems to kick on automatically. Now if i only i can find the autostart/stop button. The manual says it should be inside idrive under driving settings-> drivetrain and chassis but its not. Oh well….for now i will drive around in sport 😉. Thanks for your help!
Is it really true that the rear windows can't be opened more than about half way? Is it a safety feature that can be disabled or is it a result of poor design?
@@BeamerView I see. There are many really obvious design faults with this car where the too large "grill" is the least of them. Too many for a $120.000 premium car. The handles that will most likely be crammed with snow, virtually the useless cupholders, the not so traffic safe panel between front seats, the crystals that can blind the driver, the distance setting for the adaptive cruise control. These are so obvious that it makes me wonder what bad desitions have been made that we can't see. The executive that signed off on this must have been drunk. Too bad because all these small things add up and basically ruin what could have been a great car.
I've got one. $100k .. possibly the nicest, most comfortable drive I've ever had. Do I love the front grill, no but no reason not to buy it, its an amazing car.

Had new tires and rims installed, how do you reset the tires pressure monitor
You can go into the main menus and go into vehicle status, tire pressure monitor, click on tire settings
Pay the dealer $$$ just like you fix everything else on beemers.

Unfortunately not, they should have something similar to this mode since people have a hard time trying to turn off the rear tail lights.

Correct. It’s really annoying. I don’t think it can be disabled the reason they must have it is because of the wind noise in the car.

It’s more along the lines of $97k in terms of basic / starting price. 140k would be pretty loaded
