Jacked up the paint! You can see it in the video. Just remove the felt clips and pop it out from behind! Driver's side, no choice really but to jack up the paint...

Does the maverick have burnt lamp detection on those front marker lights?
We haven't experienced these bulbs failing in our Maverick but after reviewing the manual it does not seem that the maverick would give any dash display or hyper flashing feedback if the front marker bulb were to burn out. Our front marker bulbs do have on board resistance built in and you would not need to add any additional resistance to use them on your Maverick. Hopefully this answers your question, if not we're always here to clarify and help!

Would highly recommend NOT doing it this way. Just put 3 layers of painters tape on the edge for protection. Using a good plastic pry tool and still was having to pry way harder than I wanted to. You’re going to cause marring or damage. Going to wait and pop the fender liner clips out and remove the bulb from behind.
