When he went to record his first song, the receptionist asked him who he "sounded like"--what popular singer of the day. He answered, "I don't sound like nobody". He may have imitated the style of his idols, but the voice was all his own.

Given his age, he is very good and I would say will have an amazing career ahead of him. The only thing that i pick up on is that David is a little more serious, whereas Elvis used to have fun with the music and always had that bounce and charisma going on.
