- In 2023 the person or organization number 1000 could be awarded a Nobel Prize. In this video we are taking a closer look into the geographical distribution of prizes awarded during the last 120 years.
Since its start in 1901, the Nobel Prizes are one of the most distinguished awardes in fields as diverse as physics, literature and peace. But nations like the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland and Sweden have recieved a much larger number of awards than for example populous nations like Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Pakistan and Nigeria.
Among the close to 1 000 laurates there are also just 60 women, what is the explaination for that?

Lots to think about in this analysis! Thank you.
also because western world have dominated in recent centuries when nobel prize thing exists. At the same time, most discoveries from India and china came way before and got rediscovered and awarded to western nations.
Probably, but it kind of makes sense.

Yes.
Does the earth rotate anticlockwise?
Depends on the clock.
If you’re looking from the north pole.
Rather Tie Club centric, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RNA_Tie_Club, but yes, they are.
