For the Englund Gambit, after white plays knight to c3, one last trick you can try is Nc4. So many times white plays Rb1, attacking my queen, then you go Nxc2 (check). Their only move is to recapture with their queen and you can take the queen after that

I am particularly a fan of the polar bear gambit. You intentionally sacrifice every other pawn so each pawn is isolated like an "iceberg". You then use your knights or "polar bears" to navigate more freely from pawn island to pawn island or from "iceberg" to "iceberg". Has some great play and I bet the grandmasters would be stumped.

The Fritz-Ulvestad is a surprisingly interesting line in the Two Knights Italian for Black. White is objectively better and just up a pawn but needs to know around 18-19 moves of theory in the mainline and there are numerous tricky variations and traps that even some computers don't see until you increase their depth.

I find these gambits from UA-cam videos and my games (hope they help):
    White's gambit with e4:
In KGA, there's Bishop's Gambit (3.Bc4 instead of 3.Nf3), Double Muzio Gambit, Quade Gambit, Kieseritzky Gambit, Allgaier Gambit, Rice Gambit, Rosentreter Gambit
In Four Knight's Game, we have Halloween Gambit
In Italian Game, we have Rosentreter Gambit, Albin Gambit, Deutz Gambit, Nakhmanson Gambit, Fried Liver Attack (although it is named as an attack, it is still a gambit)
In Bishop's Opening, we have Lewis Gambit, Ponziani Gambit, Urusov Gambit
In Petrov's Defence, we have Cochrane Gambit
In French Defence, we have Milner-Barry Gambit
    Black's gambit against e4:
Against King's Gambit, we have Nimzowitsch-Marshall Countergambit
Against Ruy Lopez, we have Jaenisch Gambit, Marshall Attack (the concept is the same as a gambit)
In Nimzowitsch Defence, we have Colorado Countergambit
In Scandinavian Defence, we have Icelandic/Icelandic-Palme Gambit, Panov Transfer Variation where 3...c6 is played instead of 3...e6 (Icelandic Gambit)
In Owen Defence, we have Matovinsky Gambit
Since I am an e4 player, I do not meet and try many gambits in white's other reply:
    White's gambit with d4:
    Geller Gambit
    Black's gambit against d4:
From KGD, we have Sämisch Gambit
There are still many more gambits to go, it would be helpful if others can point them out.

I'm surprised anybody would have a problem with you plugging your courses. I'm actually surprised at how much chess knowledge you give away for free

The free content gets him more money than his paid content bro of course he'll make a lot of stuff free.

@@beri4138 fair enough, that's probably true. But I don't mind him plugging his paid content inside the free content.

One of my favorites of yours. And today I just noticed for the first time 'Hamlet Chimp'. ["Let me see. (takes the skull) Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio, a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy. He hath borne me on his back a thousand times, and now, how abhorred in my imagination it is! My gorge rises at it.]

Oh no, you missed the Icelandic-Palme gambit for black in the Scandinavian! It's my all time favourite - pretty similar to the Portuguese but 3...e6 instead of c6

Favorite animal isn’t a donkey, but maybe a dog. Love all the gambits - a lot packed into one video!

20:32 I actually play into this with white, after Qb4 play Nc3!! And everyone will take on f4, after which Nd5 is just insanely strong for white, black is unable to defend c7 and save the queen, also black has no funny checks and stuff

FEEDBACK: Firstly, thank you kindly for the wonderful content. Your videos are very entertaining and very interesting. 2nd... (and this has nothing to do with gambits)--the camera situation is VASTLY better than before. If I may be so bold in suggesting that perhaps you might want to consider putting a few light sources behind you that are dim (preferably warm white or colored).. you can dim the main room light and this way, you will "pop" whilst the background goes a pleasant "fuzz" with some visual interest. You have a little bookshelf system behind you... you can do something with that space and make it more visually pleasing with some interesting objects perhaps... a little bookshelf light would be nice there too. They key is proper lighting IN FRONT of you to create facial highlights with a darker background allowing the presenter to shine (you!)
Thanks again! I love watching the evolution of your content and career!

I oftentimes play h4 in the accepted king's gambit because i kinda like the aggressive approach in it and then castle queens side

Thank you for videos like this. With all the different types of gambits out there, it's nice to have an expert point out which ones are more theoretically sound and usable, and which ones are more gimmicky and unreliable. (Saves me what would otherwise be wasted time studying unsound opening lines).
