I am aware of multiple editing issues! It has been fixed on my end, waiting on youtube to finish processing the edits. Im not sure why they did not save the first time!! 🙈
Ive made chocolate covered cherries in the past. The recipe that I had has them sitting for a week before eating them. That's what creates the liquid center. The juice in the cherries breaks down the powdered sugar mixture and they are like the one you buy in the store at christmas time.
Thank you for confirming that! I have heard the same thing as well, but they don't last that long in the house. 😂 That's when I learned of that additive being added for the same effect!
For a more cordial center, you can omit dough and roll in only powdered sugar. This takes a few mins because as the cherries absorb the sugar, you keep rolling in powdered sugar untill they have a thick coating. They will be ready to dip in chocolate once the powdered sugar on the cherries turns pink and becomes a firm coating.
My favorite thing at Christmas time are chocolate covered cherries! My mom made them every year. I’m thinking I’ll make one or two of these for my ladies Bible study in December. Thanks so much for the step by step instructions. Take care and God bless you and your family. 😊
@Christy6000 you're so very welcome! Chocolate covered cherries have always been a favorite for me around Christmas time as well! When I first realized I could make them at home, it was life changing 😂 Take care!
I am driving over all of wonderful goodies especially the cherries 🍒 My grandma used to make them all the time at Christmas 🎄 but when she passed no one carried tradition but I found her recipe and but it doesn’t have her glaze she froze before chocolate process, so I think she would love your recipe!! So thank you so much for all these you did, I’m so excited to try them all! Have a very safe and Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍽 🍁to you and you family ❤
@mregister3945 I'm so happy to hear that! These are our family favorites. The chocolate cherries are better than a well-known candy shop we go to, so they are on repeat every Christmas! Enjoy ❤️
@rockymountainhomesteadangela Chocolate Covered Cherries and Pepoermint Bark are both favorites of mine. It will take sheer self-control not to eat them all! 😉🤪🤣
Yummmmmmy!!! I make both of the others already, but I have not done the chocolate covered maraschino cherries,I think I’m going to try them:) oh my that sounds wonderful snowing outside and a big fire in your fireplace sounds so comfy and your house probably smells really good with the smell of chocolate:) Tfs and God bless:)
They look so delicious. I plan on trying them all. I just have a quick question. After making the chocolate covered cherries, do you have to keep them refrigerated? Thanks so much for sharing! Love your videos!
Yummy! I know you got hit with the same storm as we did, our total where we are in the Springs was 24 inches 😳 do you know your total snurfall yet? Needless to say, I’ve been snowed in for 4 days and they have not plowed our roads yet 🥶🥶🥶😆
So hard to choose which to make 1st. What do you do with all these wonderful things you make? I couldn't keep them in my house, I would gain back the 80 lbs i lost! 😱😂
I hear ya! I've been trying to maintain the 12 pounds I lost myself 😂. The kids and Mike eat their share, and I share the treats with others (outside of our home).
I noticed your green cutting board moving a lot when you were cutting the chocolate. It gave me anxiety that you would cut yourself. Put a damp paper or cloth towel under the board and it won’t move around when you cut. The recipes look delicious. Thanks for sharing.

When does UA-cam fix anything right away. Hugs
I love peppermint bark so i really appreciate the directions in making it. Now i can have it all year long. Thank you.
You are so welcome! Just be sure to store it in an airtight container. We love it, too. It doesn't last long around here 😂
@rockymountainhomesteadangela Won't last long in mine either
Oh my what delicious candy recipes I’ll be making these for sure my husband will be doing a midweek grocery run

Wow, that's a good amount of snow! We got 4-5 inches here, but not too far from us they got 9-12 inches! It's was a good snowfall!

What are the chocolate wafers that you melt??? Is it thin pieces of chocolate? Because a wafer is a cookie (well, for me it is)… help!!!
