New Sub here. Looking forward to seeing new videos soon. Congrats to your son and thanks for his sacrifice. I'm a Retired Army Ranger/Sniper of 25 yrs. Currently awaiting delivery of my 2023 Tracker Targa V19. I fish lakes near Nashville, TN. Usually I am fishing for Hybrids, Lg & Sm mouth Bass, Cats. Tite Lines.
That is the problem with aluminum boats. Everyone says "omg aluminum boats are so strong." but if you get a dent you cant fix it. If you smack a fiber glass boat they can repair it no problem. Your son is super lucky. I had to do it the hard way in the army. Enlisted to officer after 15 years....Make sure your son shows respect for enlisted.
Great video, I'm doing my research now on the 24HFC just got back from the Atlantic city boat show , a lot of boat for the money. Don't know what it cost you ,but well Equipped with a Suzuki 300 hp 82 grand. If you have any advice greatly appreciated it thx
Hey Brother, I grew up like your son Army Brat at Ft Campbell! Did 22 years in the AF flying F15s. Love the video and tour. I was looking at a Key West 239 FS, but stumbled onto a used SC 24 HFC, twin Yamaha 150s. Live in Destin and have always lived by the twin engine mantra for off shore. What sunshade did you decide on? We do spend a fair amount of time on Crab Island, just chilling. Thanks again for making the Video! Jay
Nice Vessel, So you went from $60k to $100k, Fantastic ! I love America, Navy 75-81. God bless your son and good luck. My son is in Port Hueneme Califiornia for SeaBee school then off to Expeditionary Combat School then to Gulf Port Mississippi. Thanks and Welcome Home. So I noticed you forgot to turn the Main Off ? No biggie. I'm In The Head ,Can You Turn Down The Effin Radio !! Just sayin.
Great video & awesome boat. I am in between the 229 sea hunt & the 24 hfc, how does the hfc handle rough water (approx 2' - 2 1/2 chop)? The bay that I boat on gets very rough, only concern is the ride. .I'm also in between the suzuki 300 or 350 if I go the hfc route. Thanks
Thanks a lot, brother. It is phenomenal in any rougher water…it rides high and dry and smooth! Either motor will be plenty! I’m curious what you end up with…Good luck, man!
How is the shade situation especially up front? My crew likes to chill out under a double bimini up front of a pontoon, but I'd like to find a good hybrid like your CC
Yeah…the T-top surprisingly provides a good amount of shade…but we will definitely be getting a sunshade for those long days on the water…just not sure if we want it in the front or rear.
U r current or ex military? Judging by ur lingo.. i think u r, if so.. THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE👏 From a fellow ex service mbr(Cdn Armed Forces-Infrantry).. Cheers Brother👍😎🤙🇨🇦 U've earned my sub👌🎗
The military has “gotten in the way” in a significant way the last nine months…rest assured, we are finally home in Tampa, FL and new, great content is coming back very shortly! Things have finally calmed down for us!
Lovely dog was standing and watching 😂🐶

You are spot on about aluminum boats! And thanks, yeah, he is very fortunate. He has a level head and a Dad that teaches him well! Lol
Nice rig but I liked the previous boat more, a LOT more. Anyway, hope you enjoy it and happy fishing! 👍👍👊
It was definitely nice, bro! Thank you and tight lines!
That's a BIG difference from the Targa V-19. I am glad it all worked out for you and the family. Tight lines!!!
Thanks, brother! Tight lines, yourself!!
Congrats on everything! Still baffles me that your Tracker was totaled from that dent. My boat should be totaled 3 times over if that's the case lol.
Yeah…they said it could not be restored to like new condition…🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤣🤣 Liberty Mutual insurance was phenomenal though!
Nice upgrade! I just bought a Ram 2500 and Robalo this year.
Hell yeah, bro! I’d love to see some photos!

What do you think about the 22’ with a 200 hp Suzuki engine? Planning to buy one !!
Where do you get the cover for it? Thanks!

Overall what did you think about the Targa V19? Would you recommend it?
