My grandfather fought in W W I and was mustard gassed. His eyesight was never the same after that. He also captured a group of Germans and was supposed to get a medal for it but the commander was killed and so the medal request never went through. Grandpa died in 1990 at 94.
Same with my great great uncle he got gassed (dont know which kind) I never met him but my father knew him. He had trouble breathing from it happening at age 20 to his death when he was in his 80s
We just visited War Remains, and while I was getting situated for my walk through, I heard my wife laugh. She told me the rats freaked her out. She knew they weren't real, but they MOVED like they were real. She had to calm herself to proceed forward, and thankfully the "rats" moved away.
Took this VR experience last June. Highly recommended!
I love Dan Carlins WW1 podcast and this is a perfect VR opportunity to supplement his knowledge

if you want to read an intense book about WWI "In the Trenches 1914 - 1918"
That's pretty cool. Big fan of Dan by the way

Wait, is that "Ben"?????
That was my first thought! :)
The marine corps museum has a pretty good immersive trench experience without the goofy glasses and Carlin’s boring interpretations.
Boring..? Lol
I would hate to know what entertainment is for you.. sheesh
Why does it look like a video game from 15 years ago? What a waste of money and effort.
