" A little bit roughly brushed"...my Nereide case looks like it was "brushed" with a bench grinder. Glad to see that has improved. I would love to see the Nereide in red with silver indices and hands, would buy one right away- but for some inexplicable reason they chose to use gold indices and hand set on a SS band that is not a 2 tone band? I am still trying to figure that marketing decision out. I think a lot of the outcry over the rebranding is that the name change took something that evoked Italian mechanical craftsmanship and made it very very similar to a really cheap microbrand that sells $100 "fashion watches" under the premise of "cutting out the middleman"- huge mistake in my book, you have to be aware of the other players in the watch market if you are going to make a rebrand move and not pick a name similar to one already associated with the lowest tier of quality. Think of Panerai changing their brand to "Paneragi Design" The thing is, they queried the watch community on their forums and everybody said NO and then they did it anyway, so I guess if they have to drop the price on their watches now to meet sales goals that's a hard lesson learned about branding.
The thing asbout the Nereide is the integrated crown guards and the case of mine, the screwed exhibition caseback and decorated movement are done so well, and the jubilee bracelet smd clasp I have no complaints about- I suppose the clasp laser etched logo could be a bit deeper- and the bezel action is great. Too bad about the case finishing being far too rough for even "tool watch" style, refinishing mine is on my to-do list since I also work on and polish watches as a hobby.
The bezel on the Ultraleggero is the old bezel from the Nereide, the new Nereide has a slightly thicker bezel.

@@JaysonMontarde21 I don’t think so, the ones in the video arrived this week with us, but I haven’t checked dates. They are always looking to refine though, so who knows. Hope you’re enjoying the gold!

Caution Avoid this Brand at all Costs: Venezianico failed to honor my legal right to cancel a pre-order, offering one of the worst customer service experiences I've encountered. Consider carefully before engaging with this brand. So if you want to be valued as a customer look elsewhere #CustomerRightsMatter

Nice video, but recommend slowing your hand movements and fidgeting less when showing the bracelet and watch angles.

    The brand name sounds cheap.
