Shin is misunderstood just like in the movie. Hes not bad, he just has a high skill floor.

What makes shin bad is the fact that if you put two equally skilled players as shin, and let's say gojira, gojira will almost always win. Everything in ka is good when used well, it's just the fact that some kaijus are better

@@thisnameisexpunged yeah there are no limits to skill, but some kaijus are just better than others. think about this example. Shin has a power base of 50, mech has a power base of 80. Even if both players continuously increase their skill by 1, mech will always be better. See what I mean? Like sure shin can be better than mech but only if the mech isn't as skilled as the shin, and if they are the same skilled the mech will win, and the same goes if the mech is more skilled. That's all I mean, I'm not denying that shin can be really good, I'm just saying that many other kaiju can be better with the equal amount of skill (and more)

It’s definitely the kaiju, his kit is so melee based and aoe based along with it being so easy to do as long as you know how basic combat works in the game

Pro tip: The a1 is a combo extender. It's actually one of the strongest moves in Gawa's arsenal, because it can safely combo into a4 or F, potentially even lc1 if the opponent is a slower kaiju like Knifehead. And its super quick for Gawa, so it can combo from everything but lc2 and a4.
Also, it's a better idea to not use the ult raw, use it for it's I-frames (because holy hell does it go for long, like I-framing the entirety of the Minus One explosion level long) or combo into it from something like lc1 or a1 to actually hit it because the range kinda sucks. But it does 300 dmg to you whenever you use it so take note of that.

I don’t get how shinagawa in this game is literally op, yet people underestimate it
its a starter kaiju, so most shin 3's are new players so people tend to underestimate it. it also has no beam, slow speed and crap range so people dont think much of it

A quick thing with Shinagawa. Using your 3 buff, it greatly increases the damage per tick of your F attack. Absolutely melts through the opponents. Pair it up with your ult, and I wouldnt be surprised if it can 1shot a few things.

@@ssjre Your 3 buff only increases your LMB and your F attack, it also increases the stun timer on your attacks, so pulling off powerful combo's is more easy.
The full LMB attack is also amazing to create distance between you and the enemy.
@@JuicyGeuce I tested it, it buffs every move (except for the ult) with the buff being a whopping 50% increase
What does LMB stand for, and off topic but does the showa mechagodzilla shield move do anything noticeable when being used?

And showa mecha's shield increases its resistance against stuns, so enemies will have a harder time stunlocking you
Kamata Kun is great because in two moves you can absolutely shred through someone’s HP like their wet toilet paper.

Only issue I have playing him is his lack of a good range move and slow speed since opponents like kiryu can use there ult with little issue(if I used my ult to counter his I would of wasted a great ult and I would of surely threw the game there

Yeah Shinagawa is definitely a glass cannon built to prioritize attack strength over defense. Not gonna lie man I kinda fearshinagawas more when their alone rather than when their in a group.
