Austin was the person who drove everyone away from woe
This is why I always loved him and never fucking gave up on him like everyone else did. He's always been true and followed his dreams, never abandoning fans.

i for one will never talk shit about Austin, no matter how much former WIM guys appear to dislike him. he's one of the hardest working people in the scene, and maybe his personal drive was what caused issues with some, but you can never blame someone for being driven. many people may not appreciate that many WIM songs made fans fall in love because of the role that Austin played in the writing, especially in the studio. Austin made Vengeance the song that it is. best of luck to all the guys.

The new bands name is "Obtain Happiness" for those of you who didn't know :)
lead insinuates that one person is in front. the reason i put it the way i did was because they shared almost equally the vocal parts, each to their respective type of vocals.

Apparently, since Austin left, the guys in Issues who used to be in WIM (Tyler and Michael) have been going to WIM shows and Woe is Me have been going to Issues shows. Now that Woe are free of Austin, they are cool with Issues. :)

Yes, it's Austin. I can see why there'd be conflict over control, though. Austin is often credited as kinda being the founding member of the band, but Tyler was the lead singer and frontman, so they probably both wanted more control.

The only thing that makes me sad is that Woe Is Me is not what it was when they started and it's a little weird wearing a wim shirt today when you know they're not delivering the same message from when they began but whatever. The thing that makes me happy is that Tyler can to do what he wants and follow his dreams and that's sort of a gutsy thing to do. I truly respect that.
For all you arguiging over vengeance the music was written before warped tour. Look at the fame over demise intro, thats the vengeance riff the lyrics were written after warped.
Pretty ironic they were dancing to Boyfriend at the end, and Issues does a cover of it for Pop goes Punk:D

I saw Woe, Is Me in April and someone behind me was like "Oh hey, is that Tyler Carter back there?!" I turned around and said that wasn't funny . :p I really wish Ty was still in the band but I can understand his reasoning. I don't know too much about Austin or whatever but the show was still kick ass. And I'm in love with Tyler! He's so cute!

Austin has hardly had a history of bands falling apart if he's only been in 2 and 1 of them fell apart. Woe is Me are still going, thankfully.
They don't have any beef anymore. At warped this year, their tents were beside each other and they had a sign that said "beef free."
If you really think about it there are gonna be two amazing bands out of this now, there's gonna be woe is me and the ex members coming together, I have no doubt that they both will make incredible music and will be much happier now writing and playing music how they'd like
I think Tyler Carter is so much better solo, then he was in Woe, Is Me.

Who cares if he left. the songs they made together were so sick but obviously it wasnt meant to be. Tyler has got a great future ahead of him cause his vocals are fucking flawless, and with him leaving it brought another amazing vocalist Hance out into the fame! theres always a positive side to a negative event.
I'm glad he put his view across in this interview and didn't name names and was grown-up about the whole thing. He's a good man.

Yes,
Austin wanted the band to be more of and aggressive band and more "angry" lyrics, and he constantly tried to control the band, and these guys didnt like it, so they left(and thats probably the reason why Austin got kicked out later on)
And if you noticed in the interviews, Austin is always the one who "leads" the interview, which shows that he really is trying to take control.

The melodies were the same, the lyrics were rough and werent use. Vengeance is about Tyler Carter. Michael said in an interview him and austin wrote the lyrics when they recorded it.
