Hi there, many thanks for watching my video first of all 😘. I have owned my Vintage lambskin for longer than I own my Chanel mini flap so it is hard to give a definite answer , however I feel like the lambskin in the vintage is much better quality - it looks and feels more resistant. You have to bear in mind that the quality of the leather for each chanel piece may differ as each collection will use different material so this is definitely not a rule. If I were to purchase another lambskin bag (say a Classic flap for example) and there was a option to get it vintage, I would definitely consider the vintage should the condition be good as I feel that the material in the vintage handbags were of superior quality.
@@stylingmila3817 thanks so much! I asked because my moms bags from the 90s have been put through the ringer and look better after 30 years than my newer bags 3,4 years old ! I d definitely want to look for vintage now more for myself ! Thanks a lot for letting me know some of your thoughts 🌹🌹
@@dinavienna my pleasure 🥰 Knowing what you just told me just confirms my suspicion that the Vintage bags in lambskin are so much more durable than the ones produced recently. I believe this may have something to do with craftsmanship employed at the time. I suspect that due to high volume production demanded now a days puts more pressure into manufacturing faster and that does affect quality. 😘
@@stylingmila3817 yeah I think so too .. my mom used her lambskin as a daily bag in the 90s 😱 it shows use but surprisingly little.. I baby my bags a lot and I definitely can’t use contemporary lambskin Chanel as a daily bag.. it would look worse than my
