A lot of interesting thoughts in this. I also was wondering about the escape route mentioned in FNAF 6. My working theory on this area atm is that Vanny brought Freddy down there because Glitchtrap/Vanny are trying to create? Resurrect? The burntrap body. Fire is supposed to loosen the Remnant stuff or whatever so I think burning burntrap give the blob to the chance to "eat" burntrap and absorb his Remnant.
