- Former Cherry Morgan Rogers haunted his former club this afternoon with a sublime equaliser, paving the way for Aston Villa to overrun Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth in the second half in a 3-1 win for the hosts, keeping the Champions League dream alive for Unai Emery’s men.

I have been watching over the years, and it is really good to see our fans expecting more from the team. We are no longer "just happy to be in the Prem" but now we are expecting to win against teams higher in the table. The team is doing well - but I really like the fans changing expectations. Villa fan Here. I have no idea who the knobhead was that said your goalkeeper was crap. All I can say is that it was our players that scored the goals and your defence and goalkeeper who tried their best to stop them. Your guys played well against the unplayable. Thank you for a terrific game.

I genuinely thought this was going to be a very tough game for Villa today. You guys have been in decent nick and should have beaten Utd last weekend. The second half was not how most people thought it would pan out, i.e we would run out of gas, but we didn’t, quite the opposite. Definite penalty by the way, no arguments on that one.

I think we gave a very good account of ourselves. Villa were very quick on the break and Watkins showed how he needs to be on that plane to the Euro's. I feel that Neto has been told to stay on his line by Neil Moss and he doesn't seem the same keeper he was last season. Dango I think is a good player but is a backup and I honestly feel Jaidon Anthony would be a better option.
Why are Bournemouth fans so accepting. We should be top half of the league. Iraola should be pushing to break 50 points.
I don't think they're "accepting", I think they're [these two] just normal people who react without hyperbole. It all seems pretty sane to me.

Villa fan here, my favourite opposition channel. I understand your gripe about pubs around the ground, its not that great for us Villa fans. A lot of the pubs have closed down. I know you have used The Barton Arms in the past but even that closed recently.

Villa fan here. Like this team and iraola alot. Reminds me of us last year but youve got a few injuries derailing the resurrgence a bit that we didnt have last year. This bournemouth team is a top half/fighting for europe team next year 100%. Fun team to watch
After seeing Neto right in front of me for 45 minutes, he is so much worse than what I've seen on the tv. Awful decision making and doesn't command the box at all.
I thought you were better first half but we controlled that second half and the play for our goals were unplayable.
Coming here when we have something to play for was never going to be easy.

Great video guys, I agree with Ben, I had a chat with him before the game in the stands about Villa being Leggy but they looked on it. Little bit frustrated with that 2nd Half, looked toothless but onwards and upwards.
Hopefully gone up in your estimations as far as our atmosphere is concerned as opposed to last season 🤷😃

Another villa fan here.. you got real class across your squad. Wasn’t expecting an easy game… we played well in the second half. But your keeper is shocking. Find a replacement and maybe better centre back in the squad you’ll be fighting for spots next Season
I thought Bournmouth started ok. Our players were running on fumes after mid week at Lille. Emery just seems to be able to get something extra from these players.

Fair assessment, as a season ticket holder i thought 2nd half we were great. 1st half i thought you knocked it around quite nicely. As for Rogers, shows you the quality of emerys coaching to how much he has already improved. Watkins was immense. All this talk of him or Toney for the euros is nonsense to me. Clearly watkins is far superior

One of the problems of Cherries scoring drought is that the wingers and midfielders love the ball too much, they are very selfish players indeed. Holding the ball and go for the glory rarely works and they do not provide much service to the strikers. This problem needs to be addressed. . .

I said the same thing when you (Sam) was on Luke’s channel this week (UTV Pod) I really like your channel it’s so balanced & fair to whom ever your playing, on to the game I was there in the trinity road upper opposite the Bournemouth fans & i thought you was genuinely unlucky to go in at the break level as you guys were brilliant 1st half, but 2nd half i thought we thoroughly deserved the win for our effort 2nd half Watkins was absolutely brilliant today he was trying so hard to get that record goal for us to day that he deserved but overall what a day, safe journey home guys & good luck for the rest of the season.

Your left hand side was exposed time after time. Not sure why but seemed lacking
You probably won't have seen it yet from where you'll have been sat, but that penalty should never have been given.
Bournemouth lad gained possession be raking his studs down the back of Diaby's leg... shocking officiating.
It's a clear foul by Cash after that, but not giving that free-kick was absolutely horrendous decision making.
Your keeper wasn't the best, but he wasnt the worst that's been to Villa Park this year. Think folks are just reacting a bit emotionally there.
Good news is, you're safe for this season, and next season well placed to mount a challenge for top ten, if you can replace Solanke (i agree with your preview, he's probably going in the summer).
There're a couple of teams who'll be more competitive even without making any signings because of long-term injuries, but I'm fairly sure you'll be set for a good campaign next season.
