I wanted to thank you all for helping me reach 2,000 (and then some) subscribers! I really appreciate each and every one of you. And I know I promised this way back in May, so I hope you don't hate me for the delay, lol. This is my first ever real multifandom video, and it was really fun to make! I learned a lot, and I'm excited to tackle the next one, whenever that may be.

okay wow this was actually superb. lemme just start by saying that that opening sequence is so very, very *chef’s kiss*. the first time i saw it it took my breath away and i had to restart the video a few times just to fully appreciate that one sequence. and that’s just the beginning!
its really really cool to see you flexing a different editing muscle, and even though this is different than your other videos you can still clearly notice your distinct editing style. if this was in a lineup of 10 other multifandom vids and i had to pick which one was yours based on style i could do so easily, which is absolutely amazing, like the power that that has. and ik a lot of people say that about your videos but its absolutely true, and its so cool that the sentiment carries over to videos in which shadowhunters isnt the main theme.
i ALWAYS say this, but god. the PARALLELS. im not even joking i was on the edge of my seat the whole time. your ability to smoothly connect two different, completely unrelated, scenes together to present a deeper meaning astonishes me. and the fact that you made those parallels using scenes from loooaaads of different shows puts emphasis on your skill, it’s amazing to see all the details you notice and pick out. plus, it was almost like running water in its flow, it just succeeded at a great pace and nothing felt out of place. the quotes you used worked perfectly for the tone of the video too.
i was genuinely entertained and engaged throughout the entire thing, i was afraid to blink in case i missed even a second of it. i’ve already watched it countless times while writing this just because its so,,, fun!!!! you know? i just really enjoy watching it. i didn’t want it to end.
i love the variety of characters you used, too. its a really cool combo of shows/ movies. it has a super interesting narrative and i love the kinda darkness of it, you feel? it stands out from the crowd and doesn’t feel like all the other multifandom vids i’ve seen. it’s unique and special and suuuper great.
i can’t imagine the amount of work and dedication put into this. thank you for sharing this with us, and congrats on 2k subscribers!!! you deserve em all you literal legend

*lizzo voice* i've been WAITING for this one!! and the wait was so worth it!!! from seeing you talk about it, the little sneak peeks, the tutorial and finally the final video i felt like i witnessed the whole process! which i obviously didn't because there's definitely more work to it but it was a lovely feeling!! GOD you're just so good at what you doooo
i love the parallels between all these shows/Movies, TOP TIER, the way the different lines just WORK together you know? it's just so smart I cannot comprehend how you remember everything to think of that specific sequence of lines! just wow
as for the music, even though we've heard bad guy so many times by now it's just perfect for this type of videos and boy did you make it even better! as always i'm in love with the way you work with sounds, especially after seeing your tutorial. you know how to use all the sounds and make them flow with the music and the beats and it holds that much more power, its much more impactful that way, and it's so satisfying as well
i'll say the only thing i didn't like quite as much was maybe the abrupt ending, but I think it's because i naturally expected the song to keep on playing since i've heard it so much, so it's actually an interesting surprise
