- Can this Powerful Lego Technic Hydraulic Press be stopped? Ridiculous power for a Lego model using acruators.
Hi everyone I hope you like my attempt at a hydraulic Press, I’ve used 8 Powered up L motors and 2 smart hubs to power this model!
Welcome to all the new Subscribers too! I really appreciate it thank you 😀

attach a heavy weight which the actuators barely can pull up. This is free extra crushing power. It also doesn't cause extra stress on the structure. It will almost double the pushing force on the object.
Hi the problem is this can lift well over 100kg! I will demonstrate soon on a lift test 😀 so adding upto 5kg wouldn’t help that much over what it already does.
But you’re right, finding something heavy and small enough would be tricky :)
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines osium I think it’s called is very heavy but also expensive, so maybe tungsten would work
Oh wow 22.6 Kg per litre! That’s ridiculous! Cheers for that
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines You're right, I didn't think about how much weight the system is able to pull up. Thank you for your reply :)
Hey no problem! Btw I do have a 6kg lump of steel which would fit this perfectly! But I haven’t a clue how you would secure it! Lol
It would certainly help 😀
To me it’s truly crazy how someone can build a contraption like this with ease
Hey Nathan thank you very much, it was a fun project 😀
това еогромна лъжа лъжец лъжец
@@milenageorgieva2542 what so because you can't build something like this they it must be a lie ? If yes then how did they build it then did they wish it into being built lol. 😂🤣🤷♂️👍✌
@@raventhelabrador2665 true lol it’s probably just some kid with his duplo sets
@@implayingrobloxandwht yeah nobody likes duplo
I have to confess I'm a bit shocked by how much force the Technic actuators are actually able to apply, it's rather more than I thought
Yeah they’re quite strong! I remember when I first tried them I used one to lift 10 kg before it started slipping!
I feel like I should be hearing "And here we go" somewhere in the background.
Shows how strong Lego bricks are!
According to some calculations, you could make a tower of 3.6 kilometers high before the LEGO bricks collapse under their own weight. So I'm not surprised at all :)
I knew Lego was strong, but that setup really surprised me. Amazing how well it crushes; although seeing the plane meet its end saddened me a bit, it's sacrifice was not in vain!
Great model and video Gaz, thanks for sharing.
Haha cheers Lee! I have about 15 airfix planes from when I was a kid and I couldn’t crush them but luckily we had a few given to us from our cousins! So no emotional attachment lol.
Also it did have a broken wing.
I’ll do a lift test soon with this :)
This is one of those channels you never knew you existed/needed until you run into it. Amazingly cool and interesting content. Great work!
I suggest adding gears to the sides so it will help keeping it straight
First time for me! Wow weaponized Lego, I love it.
It would be interesting to see some measurements on how much pressure it's actually outputting.
So satisfying ty for making this video 🥰😊😇
He has his very own metal crushing/ recycling machine
Realy cool :) Idea for a video : Crush a Fake Actuator with this lego technic press :)
Hey thank you very much! I do have a damaged one! Nice idea 😎
I couldn't stop watching this LOL
It is cool, you don,t destroy expensive things like laptop, who otherones did. Cool video. Keep it up!
Sorry for my bad english, i normally speak German
Geht mir auch immer so😅
Hey thank you very much! And that’s ok! Far far better than my German 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines Thanks
It would be cool to work out a rough average of scale pressure in tons of force. Dimensions of the largest industrial press and the thickness of the aluminium and scale it to give an estimate of scale power
"Welcome to the Technic Press Channel. Today, we have car-rot."
Thats frikkin awsome. What a crazy strong machine!
Hey there thank you very much! Glad you like it cheers :)
Amazing, good job👍
Thanks Pawel :)
Thanks man, I am so fascinated by this video, unbelievable how strong this press is, have you ever measured how much pressing force it has? And the linear actuators that you use, are they the new long ones?
Hey thank you yes that’s right the large ones!
I’ll do a lift test to see how much it can push up :)
I kinda expected the video to start with "Velcome to the hoodraulic presse channel!"
This is the way
super cool!
Hey cheers I’m glad you like it :)
Amazing
Lego motors: im weak
GazR:Screw it
A W E S O M E ! ! !😃👌
Please put a scale in your press, now you can check the possible pressure🙃
Hi the force here is quite a lot! Far more than 100kg so it would be tricky unless I buy something very specific.
I will do a lifting challenge with this set up to hopefully demonstrate 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines lets go!😅
Amazing !
Hey thank you very much :)
Man that thing has crush power
This is insane
Strong and destructive!!
Thanks Nick!
Fantastic
Make a Lego perforating press with automatic feeding and cutting finished sheets on length.
Hey that sounds interesting I’ll take a look at them cheers :)
You can custom it like a axe
Who cut something in two :D
Or/and making a waste cube maker ! Like in the movie Wall e the robot who making cube
Oh right nice! Yes I’ll definitely do this as things get tougher! I’ll try to break some wood and a metal die cast car😀
nice build, i love it
Hey thank you for that 😀
Sheeesh you crazy man
I like very your trucks and machines
Hey thank you so much for the comment :)
so cool
Lego should have this is they’re Lego brick strength tests
Better than any shorts background press XD
As soon as I click the video I get an ad for hydraulic press guards
You should try to crush a rock or a lego piece, the most annoying one you can find that works for nothing
I’ll see what I have, I think it will snap any bit horizontally but will be interesting to see if any is crushable. Maybe a wheel rim but I’d gate to destroy a good one lol
that was epic.
Hey Fish thank you very much, a few more to come I think viewing all these suggestions 😀
Thanks To you I want a glass of orange juice now.... i love your creation !👌
Cheers Trystan, appreciate the comment :)
Cool
You are crazy to do that it’s very cool
Hello
Hey there thank you very much I appreciate it :)
Well made😂
Wow, mighty thing)
Hey thanks Brick Show :)
Nice, very cool
Thank you very much :)
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines Your welcome
cool!
Hey hey thank you 😀
Lego parts washer up next? :D
Love the use Linuar actuators
Hey thank you Naveed as always 😀
Welcome to the Lego press channel. Today we're going to do...
0:12 oh God I'm expecting alot of dirty jokes from this part
When I saw the video my first idea wasn't surprisingly this idea a bit weird. My idea was to take I don't know what it is called but screws that you can turn with gears so you can push down the press plate.
BTW nice video
Hey thank you! Oh do you mean the worm gears! Yeah there’s a few ways I’ll try a different one next time thanks :)
The can almost held its shape even when crushed 😂
I'd love to see you make a lego technic drill press. After seeing all of your videos up until this point I am positive you have the wits for such a feat.
Hey Jacob thanks I had planned to do this awhile ago! It would be a fun project. My worry is the axle friction welding onto other Lego parts when the downward force is applied !
I have drilled through fruit etc. it would be more of a friction drill
how many kg of force does this output on the press because from just the can being squished it seems quite powerful. nice one :).
How lego ended up on the export ban list for weapons XD
😂
0:44 big brother have you seen my jet- MOMMY 😭
please make one powerful train with lego
nice video brilliant idea like!!!
Hey thanks Lego Master 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines Where did you get all of these parts??
Hey I bought a few 42100 sets off eBay last year, trying to invest quite a bit back into the channel. Also I have a few 42099 sets 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines Okay that's very nice I have some parts from sets and some parts from brick owl.
All I can think about is sticky bricks when he crushes any liquid
nice bro i like lego
Hey there thank you :)
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines good everning
Wow
"welcome to hydraulic press channel"
😀
@Pillepolle bruh
Enjoyable content.
Hey thanks for that😀
i'm vietnamese but i love watching your video clip and i wish my aunt could get that device
Hey there welcome from the UK! Thank you I really appreciate it 😀
Impressive
Hey there thank you very much :)
The Fanta may attack at any time, so we must deal with it.
Add saws to the middle of the compressor thingy
Oh wow, that’s cool!
Didn’t expect you to do one of these but a pleasant surprise!
Hey hey thank you! I didn’t either but I really enjoy this type of thing 😀
This is really cool and mostly true, but that isn't hydraulic
You should make a triangle bit like the other one
A carrot isn't actually strong as a finger a fingers over 5x more stronger
Wow! Maybe you can test it’s pressing power with scale?
Hi I would need a scale that measures way over 100kg. I will take a look though :)
I will do a lifting challenge with this set up though! It may surprise people how much it can do 😀
Yes, it’s very powerful!
Pls show that last clip fully😂
3rd to last video I think lol 😀
u should do a 69k sub special before it is too late!
:)
I think you can retrofit it to make it a knife as well
Yeah that would be great! I need like a metal T section to slot underneath with a thin edge!
A scale we need to know how much force it brings
I also build a pneumatic press with 3 long 2.0 pneumatic cylinders and 2 thin long 2.0 pneumtic cylinders and it pushed 10 kg... i dont even want to know what this thing can do.
Oh nice, I’ll do a lift test to see what it can push up! I looked for some scales but the ones I need cost quite a lot and it will only be a one off time I need them. :)
Pneumatics have fixed preasure
I like how the orange squirted it's juice's
Velkam tu tö hydraulik pres tsänöl. Tudei vii aar koing tu juus legou tu kras sam tings
Which is stronger the pneumatic actuators or the geared ones?
Maybe make videos on how to build them
You should crush a Lego mini figure or see what the largest fruit you can crush is.
Try doing some paper/cardboard boxes(small)
Hey I’ll see what I have, could be too easy Will see 😀
Can you make with other brick channels a collab and create something insane? :D
Maybe sometime you never know 😀
It would be interesting to know how much force it can exert. I know you can get scales that measure fairly high for fairly low cost.
Hi Ive been looking for some but it will need to measure upto around 200-250kg
Btw do you know the specific name for the ones which come with pressure pads? I can’t find them lol
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines Well I am more familiar with the industrial ones that can measure up to like 2000 kg but those are like $1000. I had seen some on Amazon that were smaller scale in the past but looking them up again they only measure like 50 kg and are $40. I tried looking a bit, but couldn't find anything in-between. How big of an area is there for the scale to fit?
a sander next?
Please a rubber pad, it's causing me anxiety to see the bricks getting in contact with stuff that will damage then, like the soda can.
Try destroying stress ball
make it longer push so that it breaks itself
Try to crush the plastic kindegegg. Because its shape even with 40kg of weight on top of it it didnt break it. It only deformed a little bit but then got to its original shape.
Hey I’ll see if my local shop has one! I still need to film a few objects!
Also, maybe you can crush a chicken bone or something like that!
That’s a great idea Alex! Would that need an 18 rating though? Lol
Let's play grazy stuff, like submit this MOC to the LEGO IDEAS submission.
I don’t think Lego would approve of this lol, I’ll be doing a few more videos and will test it out to its max :)
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines Yeah they didn't, 😂. Your work is worth to wait. 👍🏼
Hey thanks again, really appreciate it 😀
sheeeeeees
Brutal! great demo of gearing. Loved it, however still looking forward to another vehicle! take care mate 👍🍺🇬🇧
Hey cheers Carl, I have a build in my head ready to go! Just hoping it works 🍺🍺
If you want to know what it would feel like to put your hand in there. Imagine Lego stepping on you.
Try to press a lot of lego system big plates together
They’ll never come apart lol. I added olive oil to each plate on this in the hope they don’t seize together :)
What about 2 vertically opposed presses for twice the pressure?
