That's awesome Jen congratulations i am honestly impressed 👏 🎉❤ I don't know who is more excited, Jeff or Jen. lol, it's all good, Jeff. As we get older, we all tend to get a little emotional ❤🙏. Love the show, and i also shot 1 of my target bucks this year on my small property thanks to help from your program.
Man we love to hear that Mark, we really do! And yes, I'm finding that out. Partly because I think you step back, slow down and realize we truly are living in the good ole days, right now. I am enjoying it, and very thankful...
Thanks, Mark! We truly live for this. Especially being there when the other is able to shoot one of our target bucks. It’s truly emotional on so many levels. I wish everyone could have a hunting buddy to share these moments with. Congratulations on your buck, that is truly exciting! Really happy for you!
@7:49. Lol ....."here in Wisconsin we lower our standards" .... Just got a chuckle out of that one Jeff. Good Hunting! Keep those fingers and toes warm
Haha, well ..it's tough in that spot because it's not really a WI vs MN thing...just our neighbors in MN have higher end hunting styles that promote an older age class of bucks overall, than in WI. We also have more land we control in MN, so we rely less on the neighbors as well. It's common to see a buck get to 6.5 in MN, but we don't think we saw 1 buck over 4.5 in WI all year, this year.
We do the same thing at our camp with properties 10 mom apart from eachother. We have properties with a ton of cover and terrain features where we only shoot 4y/o+, we have a few leases with less cover and neighbors that hunt well that we take 3y/o+ and we have a lease that has no cover and neighbors that run dogs and let their kids tag out on spikes every year. That's meat land, brown it's down lol
What a cool video!!! I remember you sending that pic with the red dot!! Just after Jen Shot!! You guys are having a crazy year!! Congrats to both of you!! Go Bills go!!!
Haha Brian what's a Bill? She has done so well ..very proud of her! Loved being able to share that with you. Better yet putting a dot on a deer and having her hit exactly where she is aiming 😊 Hope you guys are having a great weekend!
Heck yeah Jen congratulations! All of that hard work has definitely been paying off for the both of you. So happy to see it all come together. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Peter! We love the work we do on the property all year long. However, when stuff like this comes together it’s an incredible feeling that truly cannot be duplicated. Thanks again for following along with us!
That is awesome, congrats!! Super nice buck, happy for you. And thanks, she has been working so hard and it truly has been paying off...she is relentless!
Congratulations Jen on a beautiful buck. Thank you and Jeff and Dillon and the rest of the crew at WHS for doing what you do. This busted up bald headed old fart from the east coast of Canada has learned a lot from WHS Thank you 🙏
Haha, well we appreciate you Brian! It's been a new level of enjoyment for myself even for Jen to be a part of it all...I hope that translates to the videos! Thank you so much...we love hearing from our Canadian brothers and sisters in hunting!!
@whitetailhabitatsolutions9751 it certainly does translate in the videos. True passion and a willing to help people and trust me WHS has helped myself and many others my friend.
The cool thing is I think they have made it so far...I can't wait to see them next year! She is a true hardcore hunter and it's fun to let you guys see that too 😊 Now we just have to get her trapping video out too!
Congrats Jen again! You guys are some buck slayers!!! Can't wait till the day I buy my property and have you guys help me design it!!! Congrats again!!!
Awesome hunt Jen and a beautiful deer. Excellent practice with your weapon knowing it's capabilities and placement of shot. I know i would have been as excited as Jeff to be there for that result.
Thanks a lot, George! Shooting longer distances like that is so awesome if you have the weapon and knowledge to do so. I appreciate the support and the excitement! Thanks again!
Took my son in law out for a last day sit.Got in the blind about 9:30 and sat till 2.Saw 23 deer ,3 young buck. With no forced movement. He had a buck and doe tag.And we never fired a shot.10 years ago we would have shot as many as we had tags for.Cold sit but well worth it.
Thanks Jim! Man it sure is ... especially WI and PA too. But so many other states. Definitely something very different in the air, even if I take the really quiet gun out, ha
We like them a lot, especially if paired with the newer solar panels!! Can run for a year + on pics and say in a mock scrape...not a bait pile, of course. We find personally they do not last as long as AA lithiums, but lasts longer than alkaline. We find ourselves using AA during deer season and in January we load our cameras up with lithiums to save on bart ties at a time we can swap batteries out more frequently.
Hi Phillip, we actually don't hunt without a window open. As you say it can get so foggy. Even when we hunt in sub zero weather a window is open...although a heater buddy helps 😊 And we don't hunt with the wrong wind so that's not a concern either.
I open a window 1/2 inch as soon as I get in the stand and it stays clear. If I wait to open, the moisture buids up and I have to open a window all the way. Good Luck!
QUESTION........!..... MOOSE...Deer habitat manage ment.Moose my favorite Animal. In my area there is a localized moose population in decline.im pretty sure almost 100% sure the deer population in the whole region of the area most likely carry the brain worm.......in concerns of the moose. What would be a good strategy for moose to be more beneficial in shared areas of deer?
Thanks Kurt! My beautiful bride is still sleeping after a sleepless night with back pain...I'm sure she will appreciate your comments when she wakes up! I'm not going to wake her tho 😁

Man what a great time D!! Sounds like you have some nice sits with family and friends ..I can really appreciate that!
Good going 👍🦌🤸🥳
Thank you!
Thank you!
Congratulations. I often wonder if the tradition is as strong in other states as it is here in MI. There's just a buzz in the air I can't explain it.
Thanks Jim! Man it sure is ... especially WI and PA too. But so many other states. Definitely something very different in the air, even if I take the really quiet gun out, ha
Thanks, Jim! It really is strong. We were are a part of it in MN, WI, and PA this year. There is something truly special about it!
Jeff, I got the perfect Christmas gift idea for Jen. A female urinary device, I think freshette is the one my wife uses when we are in the woods.
Very Cool!
Hey Jeff have you used the tactacam lithium battery? If so is it worth buying those over AA batteries?
We like them a lot, especially if paired with the newer solar panels!! Can run for a year + on pics and say in a mock scrape...not a bait pile, of course. We find personally they do not last as long as AA lithiums, but lasts longer than alkaline. @@whitetailhabitatsolutions9751 awesome, thank you for your insight!
How do you keep your windows from fogging up? The anti fog spray doesn’t seem to help.
Hi Phillip, we actually don't hunt without a window open. As you say it can get so foggy. Even when we hunt in sub zero weather a window is open...although a heater buddy helps 😊 And we don't hunt with the wrong wind so that's not a concern either.
Awesome, I will give that a shot. Thank you and congratulations on another nice buck!!!!! Mine are already dropping their antlers!
I open a window 1/2 inch as soon as I get in the stand and it stays clear. If I wait to open, the moisture buids up and I have to open a window all the way. Good Luck!
DANG IT, NO KILL SHOT.....
That's a work in progress...not really a priority for us tho.
QUESTION........!.....

The area I believe should have organized logging pratcices that are animal specific.aiming at wintering areas.
Get rid of the clover and apple tress would be one of my first suggestions I'd give the politicians
😢
First
A no doubter! Hope you like the story, Kurt!
Love it!
Thanks Kurt! My beautiful bride is still sleeping after a sleepless night with back pain...I'm sure she will appreciate your comments when she wakes up! I'm not going to wake her tho 😁

I hope that's a good thing, D 😁 Best of hunting buddies for sure ❤️ And in all of life...
